Fishing was easy actually, I did all way faster than the required time. Too bad it was in my childhood and already completely forgot. Might get it again when I touch my console once again

Did you know that the chants were recorded during a pubic showing of the game while it was still in development? Sonic team got the crowd to chant "So-nic". They recorded it and used it for that section of the game.

***** of yeah, duh! At least they didn't 'magically' rebuild and revive the city when Chaos was finally defeated, that wouldn't be so original. And my question is How did so many people survive such disaster? I mean, that water was flowing like tsunami tidal waves! Sega did good, saving some of the best scenes for last while teasing with the game's introductory cut scene, that's for sure..

I seriously doubt you got this far in the game at only 6. I struggled to beat this game at 8-9, and didn't beat it until I was 11/12, because of the damn Big levels.

@@no.402 For the most part, yes. However certain parts would be a bit too difficult for an 8-9 year old, let alone a 6 year old. Try actually reading my posts before making a stupid response, because I was clearly mentioning the game would be difficult for certain ages.

I play this game since late 2003 on Dreamcast the same time the game came out of the port of the GameCube.. I brought the gamecube of Sonic DX back in August 2004..... Nostalgia for the Dreamcast which I prefer that verison than the GameCube, I have them both

When Sonic transformed he looked like he was ready to kick ass and I guess technically he was but his goal was just to bring peace of mind to Chaos not destroy him. Sonic was actually sympathic towards that thing while it was on a rampage..

To unlock the Super Sonic Story, you had to clear Adventure with all 6 characters. There you will see a ? which means you can't tell who he looks like when you meet Super Sonic during the game.

What’s strange is even if you beat the game, it still remains a question mark, I think it would make more sense if it shows the actual character after beating the game instead of a question mark.

I think we can all admit that this game did have its fair share of problems, particularly in the technical, and filler sense, but to this day, I still consider the Sonic gameplay to be the best we have ever had in 3D. SA2 Sonic still controlled beautifully, and the levels were thrilling, but I think SA1 hit that balance a lot more, and had a physics engine that was almost like the classics. To me, Sonic Unleashed is still my favourite 3D Sonic game for the different worlds, decently challenging levels, and the consistent fun factor, but this is still my favourite Modern Sonic gameplay wise.

the level in SA2 were rehash and on rail. never liked SA2. not to mention it was just miror: sonic = shadow, tails = eggman, knuckles = rouge ...

@Starscream91 no, just something unique. eggman could have been something with minions(like overlord but with robots?) while rouge would have been infiltration. (and that's juts on the top of my head) but SA2 was juts a quick cashgrab.

@Starscream91 copy/pasted the gameplay and asset from E-102 gamma and made 2 character with it. the levels are mirror to each other and so is the story. the level themself are much more straightforward with much less freedom in your ability to find alternate route ... really, SA2 was much less enjoyable than SA1. i don't even remember it having an "open world" loby or chaos collecting/training etc .. it was just: "here a few level with your favourit character ,bye" [plus i heard you liked e-102 gamma, so let's make tails like eggman and forgot about his ability to fly.]

@Starscream91 oh you are right SA2 chaos garden was better (i donder why i did not put more time in it than SA1. it's not the fact that they gave 9 e-102 gamma level instead of 5 that i am criticizing, , it's the fact that they could do so for just one instead of having clone character. Say what you want about SA1 and hwo horrible Big the cat was, at least they tried to make each character unique. SA2 agains just reused an anorlous chunk of SA1 asset and recompiled it. and again: the level where really poor. It's like comparing SA1 1st level with the moment in sonic stage 6 in SA1 (speedy highway) where you just wallrun to the ground ... sure it's fast, energetic etc , but it felt way too much on rails so much so that it could almost be just made from QTE...

Looking back I never realized I sat through so many cut scenes. This is probably the game that started me on searching every nook and cranny because I would go 10' feet and then it goes into another cut scene. I used to always be distracted and just go to other areas and play with the little chaos babies at station square

The only source for if people died is Sonic X(I know it is not canon, but it really is the only source I know of) and it says that the people were fine. Just one of the reason it sucks beyond season1, but that is another topic.

I hope the 3rd Sonic movie is their adaptation of Adventure 1. I'd imagine that they'll set up the power of the Chaos Emeralds in Sonic 2 and have it come full circle with the reveal of Super Sonic in the third Sonic movie's climax.

Some artical said super Sonic first came in sonic adventure 2. How wrong they were. I believe super Sonic was also on the gameboy games. Yeah he was ! the one where he’s super Sonic jumping off of tails plane and knuckles upper cuts him , knocking the chaos emeralds out of him . And obviously he’s on Sonic adventure.

I've noticed that all Sonic games even the racing games (like riders) have a Super Sonic fight in them, but not the rider games as you just unlock him.
