The way Sonic treats Amy while she is known as "Lady of the Lake" shows he really does care deeply for her and wouldn't mind her if Amy was much calmer and wasn't so obsessive

Sonic's gold armor looks so fucking badass.

this game is prolly the best representation of sonic's character, he doesn't see himself as a knight but chooses to act knightly and learns what it means to be a knight, to have your own code of honor and act on what is right (plus being a MASSIVE nut over the Arthurian tales this game just make me smile)

I will be honest. As much crap as the storybook games get I loved them. they're story enthused me. gameplay was okay, but it's the story that got me.

I honestly wish that they'd have more story-book like Sonic games.

I adore the drawn cutscenes :D This is my favourite Sonic game, and i realise many people hate it. I love the theme and gameplay though, like i said, the best.

So in the beginning, Sonic went to Sonic to get some chili dogs while he was running from Amy, and then he landed...there. And forgot to pay.

Sonic's final words to Melina at the end are probably the most real in any Sonic game period. Lines he says that are connected both to the game..and everyone's life here. There's an end at some point..we just gotta live life to the fullest until that end comes. Take notes other franchises.. can't get more real than that.

Did I mention how Lisa Ortiz did the best Amy? I *really* miss the old 4Kids voice actors... I felt like Sonic's personality was amazing in this, he isn't a walking bag of puns. Crush 40? Why must you play such a dazzling song for such a sad moment... but that makes it heartwarming in the end. Sonic and the Black Knight was a memorable game, one of my first Sonic games. I love it very much and hold it close to my heart. I just hope SEGA can bring us another game like this and fix Sonic's personality for it. Please, SEGA! PLEASE! ...and SonAmy too. I like that.

Man, many people hate this game but dude back in the day when I was younger playing this game brought me so much joy and damn watching the cutscenes now, I'm actually out here gonna shed a tear.

You know, for an absurd plot that Sonic apparently made up, Sonic handles it well enough for it to be enjoyable. But I nearly snickered when he was dubber "Knight of the Wind".

Taken out of context, 'Knight of the Wind' could be very rude and extremely hilarious.

I just want one sonic game where sonic introduces him as "I'm sonic, sonic the hedgehog" Then it's immediately followed up with some comment like "OH, REALLY? I THOUGHT YOU WERE SONIC THE F*CKING WALRUS!"

This game seriously looks under-rated, These cutscenes has made me appreciate the story, The life lesson at the end while odd for a sonic game of all things, its a really good life lesson :) I actually might get this game at some point when I start touching my wii in about another few years or so lol Or I could get it on dolphin now that I think about it.

Now, THIS is the writing I want back in a Sonic game. I don’t want bad jokes about the villain being bald with a mustache, I don’t want Sonic *DYING,* I don’t want Sonic rescuing a princess 4 times in the same story, all for the same reasons, I don’t want a dark and moody story where a black hedgehog shoots guns, swears, fights aliens, none of that. This is the writing I want in a Sonic game. A story that can be a little humorous at some points, and be a little serious at other points and still maintain a good balance of the action Sonic is known for. The writers of this game are (in my opinion) the best writers Sonic Team has had. I miss when Sonic games could actually be serious and not have Sonic die and make a red Echidna a serious war general. This here, ladies and gentlemen, is a good Sonic The Hedgehog story. These are the writers I would suggest be the next writers for the 30th Anniversary of our beloved blue hero’s next grand adventure.

aw I really enjoyed this game, what a cute story. I loved all the banter between Caliburn and Sonic XD. I really like Caliburn! The only thing I never understood though is why did Merlina summon Sonic when she was never in any danger? oh well Thanks for uploading this! I really didn't want to replay the whole game to just revisit the story :D

You know what just hit me? You could swap out the name of ANY character with the name of a zelda character. Sonic=Link Knuckles= Groose Merlina = Zelda/Hilda Nimue= Great Fairy King Arthur= Ganon

In terms of the gameplay itself i'm not sure, but i'm terms of story, art style, voice acting, dialogue, ambientation and soundtrack, this is one of my favorite sonic games of all times.

I wish they showed the aftermath of Sonic beating Shadow, would’ve loved to have seen his reaction like all the others .

This Sonic game is sooooo badly underrated. In my opinion it is a game worth playing. The story, the voicing and the music go so well with each other. I heard that the wii remotes are the reason to its biggest letdown when it came to this game but tbh I never really had much a problem, ofc with a bit practice you'll get better.
