Once you level up enough, it really becomes a blast to play. Plus I do love trying to solve the builds for the individual missions. Shame it takes a ton of grinding to get there but once you have the Wind Crest, Sonic's limit is finally removed.
@@Helicopter7 Sonic generations literally is faster than both of these games since Unleashed has lot of restricted areas hindering Sonic speed more than generations and colors.

I don't use mods, hacks, or anything outside of what you get from playing a normal copy of the game on a normal untouched Wii. 0:59 is nothing but perfect timing, and 1:15 is a glitch that combines a well timed speed break with luck. Anyone that owns a Wii and a copy of the game can do anything in this video if they're willing to be patient and practice.
I still think this was the best 3D sonic ever made. Music and speed sense was perfect. It was a proper extension/evolution of the 2D. Wish they remade it.
@@justalpha9138Excellent way to put it. It definitely gets better the more you play, but takes a lot of effort to get to that point. I really wish Sonic would have an Equip system in future games as that added a lot of cool strategies with different builds.
I personally think it's just under SA2 and unleashed. Sorry all the 2d sections in sonic 3d games now adays is dumb which this games doesn't really have except that that cliff shit u have to do but u can literally slide through it if u are fast enough so it doesn't matter

Same here. Although not to THIS degree. I did that in Mario Kart Wii, (got top ten fastest in the world across all tracks) but my god, I would LOVE to try this out.
Does anyone know what skill is used for the constant speed boost? Every second or so, there is a blue whirlpool that surrounds sonic and i really want to find which skill that is.
It’s the Crest of Wind. To unlock it you basically have to have at least a silver medal on every stage in the game. It takes 110 silver medals to unlock the Crest of Wind.

@Villager Gamer No, Sub Hyper Speed Up is not faster than Hyper Speed Up. They’re the exact same thing speed wise. Sub Hyper Speed Up just costs 10 less skill points and causes you to loose 20 additional rings when you take damage.
