I like how the default response to the game telling the player to do puzzle platforming was a very clear yet glitchy "no".

Considering how especially much classic Sonic games are about going as fast as possible, I don't understand how I've managed to never see a speedrun for any of them.

I like how there are a lot of inputs that show-off the kind of character Sonic has, like having him look up at his score while it counts up, styling on Robotnik during boss fights, or having him tap his foot in his idle animation between boss cycles while standing in safety. Kind of like how he acts in the The Adventures of Sonic The Hedgehog cartoon. And you beat the game inside the runtime of an episode!

Those special stages are just lightning fast, I love that jump glitch. Also was super surprised to see all the new zips like in spring yard!

I did an unoptimized Sonic 1 Any% TAS in 09.20 IGT. 100% in 16.42 is very good :) I love the jump strats in the special stages, I never knew about that. Nice job.

I remember I could not pass Labyrinth Zone 3 for the life of me. I found out accidentally the tried and true 'Up Down Left Right A+C' and would skip it just so I could finish the game, lol. I would always drown before I would reach Robotnik. This was an epic run!

i was enjoying the run like normal, i love watching TASes, and then sonic just started ascending??? in scrap brain? it amazes me how much runners broke this game

not as fast as the other speedruns but you beat Sonic 1 100% everything COMPLETE and that's very good because there are people who ignore the special stage just for the speed run get faster and I haven't seen speedruns better than yours so far. keep it up
