Dude... you have so inspired me, am in. loved Ambient for years always wanted to be able to do it.. Chris.. now am doing it at 65 inspired by your tutorials 🙏
Love the whole video but those last 3 minutes were absolutely incredible. You’re inspiring and I’m ready to get back into making music. Thanks Chris, your joy is infectious in the best way possible
Man you make me smile when you get going...Your "enthused" is radiating from within. Definition "one who is infused with, or possessed by, the spirit of God."
As usual, you reach the goal of using any synth you bump into in awesome ways. I'm pretty sure you could even be able to use a bread- toaster for ambient :-D . Great sounds and tutorial.
Sonic depth of field explained part... Thank you so much for sharing your passion like that, it moved me haha. I was wondering whether I could use your voice in a track ?
hey chris! i had an idea for a fun video you can do thats more in good fun , you can try making a short ambient track without ever hearing how the pads , percussions , leads etc sound then you can unveil it at the end and see how it turned out :D
I use the Utility template for Ableton Live as my base but my send/return tracks are customized. Check out the template it's called "Utility" material.bandcamp.com
There's advantages to both! I use the Push 2, not the Launchpad which is a bit different. The Push 2 is a very Ableton-focused MIDI controller with functions that are very useful if you use Ableton Live.
Good subject. Sonic DOF also comes with taste. Not just filters, swirling oscillators, and ambience. The whole delivery still requires taste. ; ) without taste, we are nothing.
