I just use the spin dash right before I reach the ramp, since it instantly makes Sonic gain momentum.

Turn off the speedometer.

If you keep boosting without interruption, Sonic goes up a gear and gets even faster.

Its a speed limiter, go too fast and💥, instant fail. Hold the spindash for a while and you'll see, you'll explode before you reach 0.5/4 of the stage, its so funny. Also you can't turn back. So it's a speed control test forced to just go forward. *(Ok after visiting that space again, when you need to collect the BINGO numbers you cant turn back)*

​​@@kao7143You mean like the s-rank times that already required that? Plus Spindash makes this irrelevant. Literally just tap L2 repeatedly and you go faster and you launch farther. Edit: For posterity, I've S-Ranked every cyberspace stage, including these and did all the challenges. These stages are still mid because the numerous paths just get maze-like after a while.

@@mythicalthings1796 the spindash makes you explode because youre overheating your rev boost the boost in this level encourages you to keep boosting and youre rewarded with faster boost it works like sonic advance 2's boost
