*Lyrics* *_WE WON'T BACK DOWN!_* *_WE WON'T!_* (Yeah, yo!) I'm here to go beyond my limit, not to compromise... And you can tell me if I mean it lookin' in my eyes! 'Cause I've been waiting for my moment to strike... So come close - lemme show you what it's like, yeah! You can try to stand in my path, but you're gonna regret it! I'll be the one who laughs last while we're making my exit! 'Cause this is only for the strong of heart, not if you get it... And no matter what the outcome, you better accept it! *I CAN CUT RIGHT THROUGH STEEL - I CAN BURY THE BLADE!* *SO GO DOWN FOR A SECOND - JUST GET OUTTA MY WAY!* *STANDING STILL, I'M NOT LETTING IT GO!* *SO TAKE THIS AS A LESSON, 'CAUSE IT'S ALL THAT WE KNOW!* Will the whole world know your name, when we dance with destiny?! I've been there, and I've seen it... I'm never gonna stop believin'! You'll find your flame! Oh, we can save the day! *(THE DAY!)* *_WE WON'T BACK DOWN!_* *_WE WON'T!_* (Alright!) It's like I'm seein' double vision - take a seat I'm on a mission. We got everything to gain! (Everything to gain, yeah!) To become everything you're not, you just give it all you got... And take the pleasure with the pain, yeah! I can feel my fire awaken - no time for being complacent! There's a dream on the horizon - you know we gotta chase it! And when we get to where we're going, then we start the invasion! Best me? No, you must be mistaken! (Hey!) *YOU KNOW I'LL TURN YOU INTO RUST - GRIND YOU RIGHT DOWN TO DUST!* *YOU THOUGHT YOU WERE THE BEST?! WELL, YOU HAVEN'T MET US!* *SPITTIN' FIRE AND RAIN - CALL ME THE HURRICANE!* *I'M NOT LETTING IT GO, 'CAUSE IT'S ALL THAT WE KNOW!* Will the whole world know your name, when we dance with destiny?! I've been there, and I've seen it... I'm never gonna stop believin'! You'll find your flame! Now, here we go - it's the end of the show! Hear them? They're callin' your name! 'Cause in the end, it's you and your friends... You'll find your flame! Now, here we go - it's the end of the show. Hear them? They're callin' your name. 'Cause in the end, it's you and your friends... You'll find your flame.
Now here we go it's the end of the show. Hear them? They're callin your name... 'Cause in the end, it's You and your Friends... You'll find your flame...
I take the words "Find your flame" as finding your reason to keep going strong. Despite all the struggles you might go through and all the "What ifs?" don't give up. You will find your flame.
It's a mighty fine way to cap off Tails' portion of the game on Chaos Island, especially with his worse days weighing on his mind. Sonic reminding him of his good days, as well as his latent potential yet untapped, managed to renew his resolve.
I like to imagine that in a perfect world where Sonic Forces lived up to its potential, this would have been the final boss theme against a Phantom Ruby-powered Super Infinite. It's basically the response to his theme song where he brags about how cool and strong he is and how weak you are, and having this play while Sonic and a newly-brave Buddy/Avatar stand up to the guy who humiliated and terrorized them would have been awesome.
This feels so much like a student mentor type song. Where the student is raring to go and prove himself and the mentor is all supportive, believing fully that their student will achieve all they strive for.
That transition couldn’t have been lined up any better the song ends with a lower voice but when it gets the main chorus it starts low and gets higher which is just seem less great job man!
kinda wished where the loop point happens had the "will the WHOLE WORLD KNOW YOUR NAAAAAAAAAAAAME" faded in before the instruments comes into play but its still good nonetheless
@J0LLY F3LL0W very odd, I specifically looked through the list of videos on your channel before posting this comment to avoid this exact situation. Thanks for pointing me in the right direction!
@J0LLY F3LL0W I just checked again, it's not on your channel when I look at your list of videos. In chronological order it's: 1. Greenhill 1-1 boosting 2. Greenhill 2-6 boosting 3. Find your flame (Knight) 4. Track sounds familiar 5. Undefeatable (Giganto) 6. Chemical plant 1-5 boosting
If the biggest tragedy of gaming is the downfall of Blizzard, the 2nd biggest tragedy is such an amazing soundtrack being wasted on a mediocre game. Praying for the devs to have the time to give the sequel the polish it deserves.
I really wish that this song was from a good game but everything except the music of this game has been utter garbage from what I've seen. I even watched this fight and it's an utter mess.
@@RandomFurry07 I love open world games. Breath of The Wild, Pokemon Violet, Nier Replicant, hell my favourite game, Terraria is a sandbox game, doesn't get more open world than that. The issues are with Sonic Frontiers and frankly the entire sonic franchise. Sega can't even make sonic look smooth to play as and the game is a buggy mess in almost everything I've seen. Speed like Sonic's in 3D is difficult to pull off well, but Landfall games seems to be doing a lot better than Sonic Team with their upcoming game, Haste.
the music is good, but the game is garbage the grind rail doesn't blend in the environment it is undeleveped rushed. this decade games are going to be garbage.
Amazing job with the loop point! It works so well it feels like it's just more of the song. Gotta admit, it gave me goosebumps when I heard it the first time, haha.
it really just gives you that burst of energy again. as if your almost there at the end point but you need that burst to get there. It's Freaking awesome!!!
Back in my day, Sonic took care of a problem by spinning into it! (Watches Super Sonic pick up a massive sword and slashes a Titan in half) Whoa........my boy is growing up!
@@InfinitiV35 With Super Sonic, it was either spinning (hardly ever though) or straight up ramming into the enemy with his energy surrounding him, until Frontiers. Now, the giant monsters and robots had better be ready to catch these golden hands and feet.
@@megapulsar9244 Funny how the Storybook series forms were the only ones to get that honor beforehand, be it fist or sword. Glad Super Sonic gets his time, too!
@@MasterMygrane eh true. And since from what I've learned from a certain video recently, Sonic Frontiers seems to be the closest thing we got of a third Sonic storybook game, I guess this little continuity does make a bit of sense.
The Nu-Metal rapping is pretty much what does it. The verses are composed in exactly the same way as Infinite. It may have been intentional, because the themes are completely flipped on their head. _Infinite_ was edgy and woe-is-me, appropriately stemming from the villain's massive insecurity; being assured that one is already at the top. _Find Your Flame_ is significantly more hopeful and confident; being assured that one has not, but can and will, reach their true potential.
