Hey I’m Josh from Adelaide, South Australia. I'm a proud father of 3 and passionate about heavy music.
I was the bass player for post-hardcore/alternative rock group Capulet from 2004-2012, releasing an album, EP and several demos.
Capulet were signed to Red Bull and the Taperjean Music Group alongside Closure in Moscow and The Mission in Motion.
Highlights of my music career were playing with amazing bands like Anberlin, Emery, Scary Kids Scaring Kids, Haste the Day, Awaken I Am, and touring Australia several times.
I wasn’t the most technical bass player, but lived for performing on stage. I have always loved the process of song writing and the visual art that accompanies music.

My best friend thinks the same, he thought sonic ost goes hard only in frontiers. Until i told him to go listen to force, sa1&2, knight, rider and color. Now His favorites are what i’m made of, infinite and all of me.

Sonic music been peak like that since 1998, arguably earlier than that with a lot of tracks from S3&K like Big Arms slappin' in a similar way or themes such as SatAM's. This isn't Sonic breaking his normal, this IS Sonic, always was, you have to listen to more from the Blue Blur's history.

See what a lot of people seem to not know is that Sonic Soundtracks have always gone hard. Now Frontiers may have taken it a step further but Sonic has always been one with Rock Music. One of the reasons why I grew up to love Rock and Metal so much.

Sonic music has ALWAYS been peak, there just hasn't been this mood and atmosphere to Sonic since around 2009. I'm happy to see it return in Frontiers. Check out the OSTs for Sonic '06, Riders, Secret Rings, etc.

@@emmanueldavis1872 no it wasnt. It was the most generic orchestral they could had chosen. But the music wasnt made by sonic team and Sonic chronicles had place holder music so it never had a chance to have a actual soundtrack.

The fact that so many people are surprised when they listen to the Sonic Frontiers soundtrack really shows how little people know about the Sonic Franchise. Pretty much ever since Sonic went all in on 3D games, Sonic has had the best soundtracks out there. Go listen to songs like 'Open Your Heart' from Sonic Adventure 1, and 'Live & Learn' from Sonic Adventure 2. Those were what REALLY set Sonic on this course. Of course, almost every Sonic game after has had amazing soundtracks, but not all are Rock n' Roll or Metal. Sonic definitely has variety.

Gotta suggest you get a video with visuals. The boss fights these play over are genuinely spectacular, and Undefeatable even has an official music video. Or you can go in blind to these fights only knowing the songs, if you choose to play it. Because GOD are these fights incredible.
