2:20 i like how the music lines up perfectly with the lyrics "what comes around, comes back around again" as the wyvern shoots out a bunch of missiles while sonic dodges and clusters them up to kick it right back at the wyvern, its so incredibly fitting
Idk why I keep thinking this but is sonics heart making the emeralds more pure and if so what’s going to happen when they become fully pure with no chaos in them?
@@Crimson-jf1sl I don’t know about his heart making them more pure. To me they seem neutral especially since anyone good or evil can use them. Regarding that matter Tikal (the orange echidna) was shocked that positive emotions work too so as long as there’s a strong emotion it should be fine
@MrLoo no the chains are made of chaos energy. Making the chili dog was literal matter creation. The super sonic in the movies is very different from video game super sonic
To be fair, what is the real usecase of spamming teleports in Super Form? Most of the utility is void when you can just punch your way through instead. If anything, it would be more interessting to see Sonic use the abilities when he doesn't have all the emeralds yet.
The best thing is that not only is Super Sonic out here knocking around the Titans, but the Titans can knock him around too These enemies are true matches for Sonic and it’s glorious
@@proridinggamers396 That’s how the archie comics treated them. It’s how Sonic beat his anti self which was charged on the emeralds. Typically, after a super form is used, a residual resonance remains that, in sonic’s words, gives a little boost.
@@Savagewolver Yeah, Sonic tricked Scourge, who was using the anti-version of the chaos emeralds. It was implied that the anti-version was probably stronger than the normal, but unlike the normal, after Scourge powered down, instead of getting a boost, he got completely drained and could barely stand.
That part where he collects up all the missiles at super speed and kicks them back in a big ball, it gives me vibes from the live action movie. I'm truly glad that Sonic seems more consistent between the different continuities. More than he has been for years.
Gosh, Super Sonic is so badass in this game! It's his most badass appearance! His facial expressions are so deep, his seriousness and his anger are so perceptible, just as if as if they were made to be seen! Not to mention his skills, like those CHAINS! My gosh, in this game, Sonic in his super form is more savage than he looks, he seems to hide a certain merciless side when he is pushed until his limit! Super Sonic is not only the golden figure Sonic takes thanks to his positive emotions and his nice heart, it's MORE than that, and this game prove that in an awesome way! This is really different from Sonic's character,especially because Sonic is normally a very empathetic being, but it's so badass! Such a wildness hasn't been seen since Excalibur Sonic! It's really impressive, Sonic was a real GOD in this game! A DEITY!

Damn, I didn't know Super Sonic had a chains attack. Is that what Quick Cyloop does on this boss? We need more Sonic games with bosses like this. And it would be cool if even the normal Sonic boss fights could be as cinematic as the Super Sonic ones.
Man, i love so much how the super form is used in this game. The power to create any kind of power, just using his creativity is making sense, Sonic in this form can create everything in your mind to help in a battle. It's amazing how super Sonic is strong in this history
I’ll admit, even though these are basically interactive qtes, seeing Super Sonic using pure strength to toss a football stadium sized robot dragon thing into a mountain with the rawest expression ever is pretty damn metal.
My favorite Titan boss in the game! Along with my favorite song in the game too. Just soaring around the entirely of Ares Island chasing a giant mech dragon is just so AWESOME 😭😭😭
I think after processing for a couple months, I've come to the conclusion that Wyvern is my favorite boss fight. Unlike the other 2 titans, you're in the wide open, flying all over the island at high speeds always trying to catch up. Wyvern is 100% always on guard and out for blood. Giganto has openings all over the place, only focusing on knocking you back like an annoying insect, Knight would rather keep you at a distance and let the weapons handle you. Wyvern, oh man, wyvern is shooting missiles at all times, hitting you back to back, forcing you to parry, if you cyloop it, you need to do it twice because it breaks the chains the first time. It wraps around you like a snake and surrounds you with a cage of missiles, it's obvious that this thing wants sonic DEAD. And the music, at first break through it all was probably my least favorite out of all the themes, I didn't hate it, just didn't like it as much as the others. However, the more I listened to each song, the more I studied the lyrics and the ways the songs changed, the more it became my favorite one. Combine this song with the fast paced, reaction heavy combat and god damn, you've got yourself one kick ass battle
And also sonic had to genuinely work to get that last emerald. Giganto just walks, knight puts up some resistance but practically gives up after reaching his head. Wyvern shook off sonic and actually tried to stop him before he had the chance to reach it's head. The wyvern uses the lasers not as a form of attack unlike giganto who just shoots them randomly or knight who just powers up his shield, wyvern uses them defensively to keep sonic away almost like it knows it can't hurt him. Plus he's the only titan to resist the cyclops which is just a stun for anything else. Wyvern seems to somehow be more serious than the other titans almost like it has less rage and more of a grudge againt sonic if that makes sense. Oh and that he's the most aggressive as is in an island named after the God Of War himself.
Fun fact: Wyvern is actually the smallest titan compared to Giganto and Knight by a MILE When all 3 titans r put together, wyvern is considerably smaller than the other 2
And yet it feels like a fight on a much bigger scale because you’re actively chasing after it. Easily my favourite boss in the game, it’s so fucking cool.
It's kind of a shame that there aren't any voice lines during the fight. I literally went "Open up!" in the most Sonic voice I could at the end there bc it needed it so badly

I see all the boss battle an you videos and it was epic for sure I didn't know about the double circle loop I troght you can make one but now I know and know jew stuff I hope more content like that an the future and you have an new sub
I was just now fighting Wyvern and he used a laser breath attack I have never seen. It's not in this video. I think he only does it when really low on health. yea about that, i know about that breath attack, sadly, i couldn't' do it in this video cuz by adding that sequence i always ended up killing him pretty quick.. and since my priority was to show the double cyloop, i had no choice but to skip it
@@TsuneAi Ahh man. I was hoping I discovered something new :p I also found out that you can jump over the automation trigger on the 5th Island corkskrew and run along it manually.
@@TsuneAi ok the reason why I was confused is I didn't know with cyloop or quick cyloop we can create those chains on wyvern cause I never tried it on wyvern lol
@@hwanniggles187 I play on Switch and the game runs really good docked. Handheld isn’t as smooth or as clean as docked, but is definitely playable. That being said, the video is 60 fps so it’s probably pc.
They're on switch since you can tell by the QTEs it's showing the Y button which would only appear on the switch version Xbox would show the X button PS would show the Square button and PC (if you're on keyboard) would show left mouse click
