Conniption He must of, considering Classic Tails is there, and so is Metal Sonic. Classic Tails came from Sonic 2 which introduced Super Sonic, and Metal came in between 1 and 2
The Time Eater looked really cool but, the boss battle itself was a huge letdown. Excruciatingly difficult at times because of the terrible super sonic controls and the level hazards, Sonic's friends constantly chiming in every few seconds made the fight even more unbearable. The only blight on an overall fantastic game.
This seems to fit perfectly! Sonic(s) end the game flying as a greater form, he's fighting an enemy with "Big Arms", there should be no excuse to not add this in the game!
Neon SD What they should have done was make you fight the boss in every time period from the game beginning to end every time it starts a different phase.

Ok just think about it you guys...Look at his figure in the final phase where his bottom arms are gone. Doesnt he look like he has elements from the 3 Modern Bosses? Solaris, Dark Gaia, and Egg Nega Wisp? Solaris: The wings, the time powers, and the way the Time eater swings his arms is all identical to him. Dark Gaia: The dark Purple darkness coming from the bottom of the Time Eater. Egg Nega Wisp: That face!
@Rio It might've been a glitch, but it was unexpected, I kind of wish it's used on purpose in the stronger bosses to take rings away from you like the Phantom King in Mania's final zone
I tried my ol' 2 clips in 1 trick with this and DarkHyperSonic7's "Live and Learn- Perfect Dark Giga remix and it kinda fits it better than "Big Arms", but the "Sonic Boom" ending fits it perfectly.
