Yeah we really need them because some of these are just way too overused nobody ever uses the unused boss of Press Garden from what I noticed & it has been 5 Years already.
I feel as if Labyrinth Zone got the better end of the deal. Not saying the other zones didn't get a great improvement. I'm just saying the Misfits team was able to take a zone that is nearly universally hated and made it enjoyable (amazing even), while the other zones were already fine and made them better. I know some people might say something about Wackywork Bench Zone also being hated, but I never really thought it was that bad, but hey, that's just my controversial Sonic opinion. We all have one. 😐😐😐
Wacky workbench I did hate very much but in past they had the angel statue meaning wacky workbench future was labyrinth zone but how does labyrinth zone statue angel end up at wacky workbench past then if u go to the same spot bad future a statue of robonik dumb looking
My opinion: Labyrinth Old: Not too hard but unfair. Aquatic Ruin Old: Way better and easier but still unfair at times. Hill Top Old: Not too bad, though kinda weird start. Wacky Workbench Old: Nice level but annoying gimmick and unfair obstacle placement. All of the new versions: *chef's kiss
If they're gonna bring Metropolis zone back... I just have to say they better not screw up on the enemy placements, but overall a very good mod! #thebestsonicmaniarecreations

@@p2k507 actually one of the people who happed work this mod actually made a unnamed experimental mania mod and its made by cyber1214 and the mod actually contains a actual custom boss and oh boy the mod includes a very trippy experience so please check it out!
this update is cool and all but i still prefer the original misfits pack for having metropolis zone reimagined and that was my favorite level and i preferred the music of the original mod
this is just a demo, and i can confirm metropolis is still here, and that there is even more levels too for the music it was just using s2hd music or the tee lopes music, and so it was just for placeholder
The problem isn't that they're the same bosses, the problem is that they're still using the old music so its so painfully obvious still just the same boss. Its such a good mod otherwise but like dang the bosses need different music.
the mod is just suppose to be what if those levels where in mania, so if labyrinth was there and not hydrocity it will still be the same music at the end
Wacky Workbench is awful. It’s the worst zone in Sonic CD by far. Now it actually looks fun! “Wacky Workbench” and “fun” were not two words I ever expected to say in a sentence, but now it looks really good, to the quality level of zones like Studiopolis or Mirage Saloon!
Bro why do they use present background style for act 1 of wacky workbench when it has the past remix playing, and then a dubmix of past music again with present background style for the SECOND act, it makes no sense
It’s nice that they make new games with old artstyles I just wished ps2 and ps1 era were more respected all these ps1 and ps2 remakes suck to me the originals will always better it’s called classics for a reason why ruin it and give it plastic surgery lol serouisly tho it really pisses me off people claim there nostalgic for something but don’t even like old graphics like serouisly why would you wanna see modern graphics 24/7 if I want classic action I’ll play the original with classics graphics and all the old games look nice in good resolution ecpecially ps2 so remakes are serouisly unneeded and remakes are false nostalga if you really was nostalgic for a old game you would love those old graphics it had
@ᴡᴇʀᴇʜᴏɢ exactly someone who appreciates old graphics im not asking for new ps2 graphics games it would be nice tho and people do make horror games with ps1 graphics wich I’m glad about that but with all these remakes it’s getting to out of hand it’s just replaces the original even my big brother prefers shadow of the colossus ps4 graphics smh isn’t he older shouldn’t he appreciate old graphics more than me. 😂 he doesn’t like all remakes tho he prefers destroy all humans original over the weird cartoony look of the remake but it is what is I just don’t like how people have the need to perfect already perfect games it’s cringey cause sometimes they just change the graphics and most people think that’s making the game better I’ve seen people say shadow of the colossus is 10 times better on ps4 and they did what the ps2 couldn’t cause the ps2 limits we’ll guess what one of the reasons the 8 colossi were scraped was cause of the ps2 limits so the ps4 remake didn’t achieve anything at the very least they should do what halo anniversary did and let you pick the old graphics and also you can play sotc original on ps3 and emulator if you want better frame rate I still even like the native ps2 version even tho it has bad frame rate I revist it there sometimes but the amount of people asking for remakes these days is shocking as if they want every classic to be remade so it’s gonna keep happening you know but I know there’s people like you that understand like honestly resident evil ps1 tank controls aren’t even that bad there easy to control after a min of getting used too

@ᴡᴇʀᴇʜᴏɢ ye it’s seemed everyone had ps2 and wii I had it is aswell And still have it my old wii and ps2 died tho I got new ones and I got GameCube games too I never knew wii can play GameCube games back then heck I never knew what GameCube was at the time and for sure didn’t know Dreamcast and then I thought Xbox 360 was the first Xbox 🤣 but ye I got a playlist of ps2 games if you interested there’s a lot of underrated games on ps2
i think im the only person that knows about this but, Aquatic Run Act 2s music is a brazillian type AND the name of that music is ''Samba Incerteza'' and guess what? in brazillian thats translated to ''Incerten Samba''tell that to a 5 year old that played Sonic Mania over 9000 times and beat it!
hey ! i'm not jubalub but i still hope you enjoyed the demo ! if anyone founded the demo a bit empty and kinda like the holiday preview its bc this was mainly a demo for fixing the art, adding new music and showcase new ideas we hade.
1 i think the team just prefer the past music and look , and i agree it looks and sounds way cooler than then present version 2 metropolis is still here, but just not playable, as this is just a demo and there was just not enough change to actually make it intreeting for the demo
since custom mechanics can't really be made, lots of stuff is reused Aqua ruin 2: stardust speedway (which is reused from marble garden), hydrocity labyrinth: hydrocity wacky workbench: flying battery hill top: lava reef, green hill act 2
Okay this might be the dumbest idea I’ve ever had but what if we made the ultimate sonic mania mod that inserted some of the best level remakes from other mods into the main game as one interconnected game. Stage transitions would have to be altered but I think it could work especially if there were custom bosses.
