4:24 maybe I’m wrong, but I’m not quite convinced that for a string instrument like guitar there is any attack at all. When you pluck the string it starts vibrating at its full amplitude and then it starts decreasing. It’s an impulse, if you want, that makes the string vibrating and it is physically not accurate to immagine that the amplitude of its vibrations (the volume) increases over time. For piano, drums or anything else that produces sound by making things collide, I think its the same. Of course I could be wrong. Thank you for your series, it is very interesting!
