@@bluz374 most of these aren’t referencing other moves and most of the others are just moves inspired by others like the cyloop and blue tornado or the kick projectile and lost world
I think 0:55 looks more like exactly the same as quick cyloop. But lmk what ya think. How trail is around the enemy and then they get flown into the air, exactly the same.
I instantly knew quick cyclop was a reference to the blue tornado move in Sonic heros, same with phantom rushed being referenced to team blast. I use to play Sonic hero's all the time so I definitely recognized the moves when Frontiers was first showcased.
0:48 Honestly I think it also reference a hability Sonic uses in Sonir rush when we fight him a Blaze. except that he doesn't pull his opponent during the attack. So I guess Sonic heroes tornado attack is a bit more accurate
This is cool and I can see where you get these references from and for me personally when Sonic is like kicking his wind 1:07 it's like for me this is Sonic's own version of Chaos Spear
Only "stretch" is the Sonic Heroes light speed attack (could have shown chaos snap from 06), and the last one isnt that similar. But either way, GOOD JOB MAN! Great video!
Correction: 1:12 This is a reference to Sonic's air kick in Sonic Battle. Which you did showed here at 2:41 at the end but for the wrong move. Im confused.
1:10 I honestly thought that was to omage to lost world 3DS replacement for the homing kick. The sonic Shockwave caused by a kick mid air. Used to stun enemies. Edit: ok I realized you showed the clip later in the vid. Nvm lol
What version pr frontiers dose sonic do the drop kick from sonic battle cause I've tried to do it on the switch version and he doesn't do that kick down
I'm just gonna say that Phantom Rush looks almost identical to the "Quick Attack" in FFSX6... edit: nvm, watched the video a bit more and it was there lol And also, I think Sonic Boom isn't suppoused to be Sonic Lost World and Advance, instead Advance 2 and Battle, because of the "Sonic Wave" move
A lot of this is bogus. If anything, the sonic boom would be a reference do that one move in Sonic Battle where he shoots a projectile. And you act like every move where Sonic spins in a tornado-like fashion is a reference. Sureeee, SEGA made a reference to Sonic ‘06, and a fan game. The only reference in this that could be even remotely true is the first one.
