Sonic and the Freedom Fighters explore the now desolate Robotropolis. Entering into the main control room, their eyes are immediately fixed on the centerpiece: a now-vacant control chair; the metal throne.
I hear the echos of- " WHAT COLOR IS MY HEART?" " My what a CHALLENGING tone, for a PRINCESS." "Nice dream, but dreams are meant to be BROKEN" " It warms the cockles of my heart" " I have machines of all kinds, MARVELOUS MACHINES, they can do things, YOU WOULD NOT BELIEVE." " SNIVLEY!" " Little red riding RODENT hood?" " May my best machine WIN." " I Hate that hedgehog, I hate him, I HATE HIM, HAAAATE HIM! HATE! HATE! HAAAAAAAATE!!!
You know although this is supposed to be the aftermath after Robotnik vanished, I could also view this as him just sitting in his chair with nothing to do and nothing to take his mind off his hatred, so he's just left to Stew in it, because you know although a lot of villains seem to enjoy what they do, but it's really easy to take your mind off feeling when you have something to do, but when you have nothing to do nothing to take your mind off what's really going on inside what happens? Well I think for Robotnik he would stew and get even more corrupted by his hatred, what we really don't know cuz there's no origin story on why Robotnik is like this, even in the main games we only get little snippets of why Eggman is so evil, so for right now with no scheme to an act and no Hedgehog to Chase, what more left to do than sit in a chair and and contemplate your own hate and evilness.
To be honest echoes of evil, sounds more metal and emotional, and if no one can tell this is the Robotnik theme by the way it sounds, and the description, then I don't know what to tell them.
Although from the description it implies that Robotnik is gone, but from the ambience and music, his PRESENCE LINGERS, everything hes touched still has the FOWL STETCH OF POLLUTION. The HEARTLESSNESS, the APATHY, and the HATRED, has seemed to have bled into the walls, the Cold calculating feel, is still here, it's almost like, ROBOTNIK'S TWISTED SOUL, is still here....
I think one of the things that SatAM did, whether by accident or design, is that Robotnik wasn't just a mad scientist, he was a fairy tale monster. The entire world suffered just from his presence, and people were cursed by his machinations. (And just like with a lot of fairy tales, I think he's subject to "Grimmification", with people remembering him as even darker than he was, just because he's so unexpected.) And I think FOXShadow's music really does a great job at capturing the sheer dread that something like Robotnik can cause in a world.
I agree 💯% Not to mention, that SatAM Robotnik is the most threatening version of Eggman on television. But I don't think a monster describes what Robotnik is, monsters are just a mean piece of nature, and as we saw from the cartoon, and other incarnations. Robotnik isn't natural AT ALL.
You always capture the essence of the show so well in your compositions! It's the next best thing to having the actual soundtrack from the show. I hope someday you are able to recreate the one that plays in the Sonic & Sally episode from season 1 after Sonic, Bunnie and Rotor reprogram the fake Sally and take off in separate directions. :)
@@f0xshadow521 Ugh I think youtube deleted my last comment with the info... but it starts around 18:14 in this video: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-8yvsoWwg5xw.htmlsi=nwVfPtVmFT_NL36u
It feels like you took inspirations from one of the themes that John Williams wrote for the Star Wars trilogies. Did you came up with this after you read some premise or summaries of sea3on comic?
You're not too far off. I had been playing through ff7 rebirth, and thought Id attempt a heavy, low string variation of the Robotnik theme. It needed a B section so this is just what came out ☺️
@@f0xshadow521I would try contacting them. You have the talent and I am certain they would take you on if you auditioned. That and you would get to work with the original composer-as he is involved with the project.
Here's a suggestion, how about you do a remaster of the theme that plays every time Robotnik enters a room? ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-jT5tRoQy2aI.htmlsi=P_rV76qnDQVt9ooJ
I'm not talking about his normal theme, the link I have shared shows you the theme that plays whenever he enters a room, there's no harp, and it's only violin drums and trumpet.
