Yeah, it's definitely my favorite Sonic game to date, personally. I love it. I honestly can't wait to see how they improve on the formulas of both Frontiers and Superstars.

It’s like a double edge sword for me. To me, Co-op was the most fun experience of the entire game for me, that’s the whole point of this game. But when I played solo, I didn’t had as much fun as I thought I would with the other 2D Sonic games. Co-Op is definitely best with this game to be played with but solo, not as much so. Felt like Sonic 1/CD. Not as good. It is a Sonic game of all time, in a weird context.

I'm so glad the game is receiving so much reception and recognition. I'm still having fun with this game. Mania did great in my book but Superstars takes the cake on this one. Looking forward to see what the future holds for the franchise and for Morio's next project on the Sonic franchise.

I just finished the game, and imo it was very good. Although it is the hardest Classic Sonic game, it does have very good levels and gameplay. And the original new stages are very good. Sand Sanctuary is my favorite.

Hear me out, I think it would a sick idea if Sega pulled a Destiny in the future, where they make one really solid Classic Sonic game, but then add multiple dlcs over time of more stories and stuff Still will take some time to make those dlcs, but I think it would be a lot easier than designing another game from the ground up and stuff

So glad there are companies that would give this a 9/10 I am so thankful that lots of companies including myself love this game. With some of us giving it the best rating while others choose their own decisions that 7/10 from IGN was really bad so I thought I give the game a 12/12 since I really liked this game so much. Glad we are going to have fans be playing this games and enjoying lots more fun.

Lo hace cualquier videojuego en realidad, ponen las notas más altas para tapar las más bajas, Nintendo, Sony, Microsoft lo hacen y Sega no es la excepción. De todos modos Sonic Superstars es un buen videojuego en términos generales.

Gotta make your game look good when better games are out( cough cough Super Mario Wonder and Spider-man 2) since those games have critical acclaim and superstars is generally mixed. Movies do that stuff too, sadly.

@@braveagentg difficulty is not the issue, it’s the I frames, the boss won’t be flashing anymore and I still can’t hit them

@Alph4Falc0 yes, they are invincible for extended periods, but they aren't slow if as soon as they are vulnerable you're already about to hit them again anyway.

Although a little mixed bag, especially in the soundtrack department. I consider this Sonic 5, with Mania being the true Sonic 4! I am totally glad Naoto Oshima and crew worked on this! You can feel their handiwork on the levels and some of the music! I've missed this old school Sega style for so long! Thank you for this game! Can't wait for Mania 2 or Superstars 2! 💙💛❤💖🧡

For years, Sonic 3 & Knuckles was my favorite 2D game. Now, I think it's been surpassed by Superstars! An incredibly fun game, offering what's best in the 2D world with great graphics and a large number of innovations! Thank you, Sonic Team! 'Frontiers' has taken the lead as my favorite 3D game, a position that was held by 'Unleashed' for a long time as well! It's the best era to be a Sonic fan 💙

Definitely a fun and solid game. I prefer Mania, but this is absolutely a fine game in its own right. Also there's a guy going on all the comments in this vid saying "this game sux" or some such with nothing more than that. Probably will hit mine too, just ignore them.

It's an 8.5 out of 10 for me. However, I did have an enjoyable experience playing through the entirety with my younger brother! I still have yet to test it with 4 players! 😄
