I can't believe it has been 30 years since this masterpiece of a game was released! It's a coincidence that the 30th Anniversary for Sonic 2 and Tails is on the same year the second Sonic movie is gonna come out! Happy birthday Tails! 🥳🦊

It's ironic how tails saved sonic's life in his "first" apparition but is still underrated, i mean, a look at the second movie's marketing, they're giving more focus to knuckles than the guy who appeared in the first movie post credits, and is in the movie's logo

The first time when you finished sonic 2 as a kid it felt so nostalgic

i noticed a few things different from the two. in the original, tails looks more determined to save sonic, however, in the remake, tails looks scared and worried.

I noticed that the original version on the left in 0:20 Tails’s snout is long. Glad you’ve shorted his snout because if you made his snout looked exactly like the original, then Tails will look weird with the long snout.

Como fan de Sonic, que crecí con sega genesis en la epoca de la guerra de los 16 bits, no me gusta lo que hacen hoy con tails, era mi personaje favorito hasta que lo destruyeron haciéndolo parecer un cobarde e inútil, la animación esta buena, pero se ve que su cara no es de decisión y que sea relevante. Quizás fue el efecto dragon ball de la época que nos gustaban los personajes decididos o no se, pero no me gusta el tails de ahora y como lo ven. Espero que Paramount y Sonic Frontiers con el guionista de los comics nos regresen al tails que en esa época sentíamos como era, alguien que quería ser tan decidido y valiente como Sonic, no el inútil y "Family Friendly" que es ahora. Me refiero a la imagen del segundo 0:29, que es el contraste perfecto de lo que fue Tails en genesis/megadrive y como lo ven hoy.
