I loved the movie! I do agree that they needed to add more Sonic music. Especially during the pivonka scene. I thought I heard the Marble Zone music but I'm pretty sure it was something generic. If it wasn't Marble Zone, it absolutely should have been haha.

Sonic 2 is a blast, really enjoyed it. The ending was awesome and post credit scene🔥 Can't believe the amount of cgi went to a sonic movie lol, can they make a profit hahaha....

To be honest, this was still much better then the 1st movie and seeing Sonic and Tails Interact we're truly the best scenes, especially Knuckles being a total badass and not a complete braindead doofus from the modern games. Unfortunately this Is also gonna be the last and final role for Jim Carrey's performance her knowing that he announced that he's retiring for alittle while so enjoy It while ya can!

It's wild for me to hear Tim say this isn't the best movie or adults as I went with my partner and her 18 year old brother and we all had am amazing time. Sure, it helped that every kid in the theater at this 9pm showing was going absolutely feral but even without that this movie would have been an amazing ride for me. I could not stop laughing and enjoying myself. There was a TON of adults in our showing as well that were having just as much fun as us. This is a superb sequel that topped the first in every way for me. I'm not sure how it can get better from here to be honest. This is a great comedy action film with family elements. I loved it, I can't wait for the sequel and I'm starting the petition for Robert Pattinson as Shadow right now.

I absolutely loved this film. My son (15) and I had a blast and, like Tim, seeing so many younger kids just having the time of their lives watching the action unfold, "ooohing", "aaahing", and cheering their little hearts out, was fantastic. Side note - I have no idea how Kevin didn't pick up on Sonic being a kid in the first movie.

Easily a 5/5 for me. I'm a huge Sonic fan but my 3 year old is Sonic OBSESSED! We loved it! BUT! We're massive sonic fans. My parents and girlfriend are not. They appreciate Sonic because of the enjoyment it brings to me and my son in particular. But they absolutely loved it. My dad was telling everyone later on at the club how fun it was. Like 55 year old, bald, tattooed working class tough guys. And they're like "I'm watching it this weekend, my kid forced me to watch the first the other day and you know what? I really enjoyed it, I can't wait now". We all enjoyed it. As Sonic and non Sonic fans

I was stoked for this movie because Knuckles has always been my favorite Sonic character and it definitely delivered. I loved it and I'm with Tim on the 5/5 thing. I'm so ready for a Sonic cinematic universe. Especially with a Knuckles spin-off and Shadow on the way. Here's to hoping we get awesome characters like Rouge, Big the Cat, and maybe even some Freedom Fighters from the old cartoon(Sally, Antoine, etc.) I have high hopes for Sonic's cinematic future!

As a lifelong Sonic fan, who played Sonic 2 as his first game at 5 years old, who took his 6 year old son to see this today..there is nothing more you could want or ask from this thing. Yes the humans…but hell even humans not being flush with a Sonic story IS a meta Sonic trope even if it’s not intentional. This thing doubled down and said Sonic fans we made this for you, Knuckles loves grapes of course because the Sonic 3 manual mentions that in his bio etc. but thus also was made for just a general popcorn flick movie going audience, my wife who never even knew Sonic until we met loved the movie franchise. The irony of Sonic movies being the top tier of video game multimedia is crazy

Saw it last night. I’m not the biggest Sonic fan but I had such a fun time with this movie. The theater experience was great too. It was full, mostly with parents and their kids. Hearing the kids get excited with each character showing up was great. Especially the Shadow reveal

Sonic 3 should open with Sonic messing with Gun soliders from the inside of a plan, tearing off a piece of metal and sliding down the hills of San Francisco to an Offspring cover of City Escape.

Everything's on Earth so that the human characters can play a role. Like Transformers, there'll never be an entire movie or most of one on another planet, even if the characters we want are getting their screen time, cause the human characters still gotta have at least some screen time. So for Sonic, this means having to weave in all the more absurd worlds/levels into Earth somehow, which is weird considering how more grounded the first movie was.

My theater was full of kids enjoying the hell out of this movie and at the end there was marvel level hype and cheers for the post credits. The theater clapped at the end because everyone had a great night and good fun and that to me makes a good movie.

This is a amazing kids movie, filling the void of the lost part of Hollywood for the non-animated kids movie, like air bud, the sand lot, etc. Those movies just don’t exist anymore, and it’s great. I disagree about the humans characters. I think every second of a human character on screen other than Jim Carey is awful, and if this movie was 90 minutes with none of that, it’s a better movie for sure

I'm hoping we see Amy in part 3, we got Tails and Knuckles in 2, so Shadow and Amy would be great for 3, plus it makes sense as the next stage since, the first one was family, the second one was friends, so the next logical step would be love... 🤔
