Well...at least the end result of crossing a hedgehog with a tiger is marginally better than what happens when you cross a hedgehog with an electric mouse...
People who never had one look at this commerical like "Wtf" People who owned one see this and they hear that "BLUBEE BEE BEE BEE DEDEDEdEEEE BLUBEE BEE BEE BEE DU DEE DEEEEEEE..." 'music' that played because even after 22 years IT NEVER LEAVES YOUR HEAD
"Energize yourself with Power Sneakers and the Invincible Cube!" wut And also, "Supersonic fun for kids on the run!" Based on the time period (1991-1993), you could either get Sonic 1 on the Game Gear, or the Sega Nomad.
Josh Beane I would rather pay more for high quality handheld than pay less for these plastic pieces of crap! These games are unplayable and not fun at all. Most of the time you don't know what's happening on the screen.
I can’t believe I just randomly found this commercial originally shot in 1992 shot in Toronto Canada. How do I know this? That’s me the kid in the red, no joke! Lol. So wild because as a child I tried looking all over the TV channels for this during that era and NEVER EVER found it. Apparently it was only aired in the US. Back then these producers were ok with child labour haha, but never cared to give a copy of the final product to their talent. Just by chance sitting at home bored during the pandemic, I thought just maybe that old school Sonic Commercial could be on RU-vid, and heck ya I was right! I also found some old Nerf commercials I was in too in the 90s. RU-vid sees just about everything!
I remember how popular these electronic toys were, before the GameBoy and GameGear systems became widespread. Heck, a lot of kids who didn’t have home game console played these, too. A lot of parents couldn’t afford actual consoles, or considered them frivolous expenses, especially since Arcades were still pretty much everywhere. Good memories, even if these didn’t compare to something like Sega or Nintendo.
side effects include: running extremely fast, uncontrollable spinning, seizures, nausea, uncontrollable diarrhea, headaches, stiff joints, and in some cases, even death
Sonic the Hedgehog 2, the Tiger Electronics one, was SO hard when I was little, mostly because it was incomprehensible to me... Then I thought, "wait, is Sonic moving in one spot, as are the enemies...?" And so, when I was 10, in 4th grade, I dug it out of the old Toybox that was sitting at the top of the stairs, and managed to figure it out... "Sonic isn't moving in one spot, he was moving along a BACKROUND!... :O" From then on, I managed to
These were those games that your uncle or grandma always would get you for christmas thinking they were buying you the newest video game console. I hated these limited peices of crap! The gameboy was already out at this point, go home tiger, youre drunk
"Energize yourself with Power Sneakers and the Invincible Cube!" from these words we can tell that the tiger electronics marketing team were on DRUGS when making commercials.
“What do you get when you cross a tiger with a hedgehog?” A visit from the local science community of ethics and immediate withdrawal of your grant funding.
hey hey hey i had one of these and thought it was the best thing ever....even though sometimes i couldnt tell what i was doing. just stuff moving across the screen lol
