I still find it dumb that Sonic let Metal Sonic go. As issue 24 establish, Sonic seems to have thought that with Eggman not being around anymore, Metal would have sought a new purpose in life, but nothing in any of the games has ever suggested that. The only time Metal has ever exhibited any form of free will was in Sonic Heroes (which happened in this continuity) and even then, he was just trying to take over the Eggman Empire! Sonic brings up Gemerl and Omega as examples of former Eggman robots who have gone against there programming but those two exhibited that they are more than just a weapon in their respective debuts. If this is supposed to be the same Metal Sonic as the one from the games, then Sonic thinking that he could change makes no sense since he never exhibited any positive or heroic traits.
I guess he thought metal could change. It was pretty dumb, but also a sonic thing to do I guess, since he's not really causing any more trouble right now.

Sonic figured that without Eggman, Metal Sonic would find a new purpose, his own purpose. Unfortunately, he forgot the part where Metal outright told him that Eggman took away his free will.
Yeah, I would have expected Sonic to still be very skeptical of Metal Sonic changing and not trusting him. Archie Sonic didn't even trust Shard, atleast in the beginning. Maybe the writers drew inspiration from the Sonic anime OVA? Yes, Omega and Gmerl probably influenced his noble, but misguided thinking - the only difference was Eggman was around when both robots decided to bail and shack up with the good guys. Free will and sentience, to an extent. Omega is a bit of a mystery though, I mean where did this strong hatred come from for his creator and his other "siblings?" Was he that extremely insecure about Eggman treating him like useless garbage?
Nicely done, for the most part. Most of the voices go really well with the characters (I especially liked Tangle's voice), though I can't say I like how Eggman sounded in this. He didn't seem gruff or angry enough.

Omg its so sad and i always forget.the most main plot of sonic is that he turns animals to robots...im not really a animal lover but i always found this plot to be sad and scary .its was always pretty heavy for me even since the original tv show

Well Knuckles did a great job in leading army commander knuckles. I'm happy for him I really am after all I knew he is smart and leading everyone to victory I knew Knuckles could I'll never change my mind about supporting Knuckles's leadership because I am proud of him.
Mild spoilers I guess. Damn, it's almost comedic and ironic seeing everyone so oblivious to watch going to happen next. Seeing Sonic and Silver talking about hanging around in the future I can only think of Silver's return from ice paradise and oh boy poor dr. Starline, every time Eggman said something stupid in this issue, Starline was like oh okay I get it seeing his excitement is almost comedic knowing how much disappointed he will be. Also Eggman's voice is really good, he is acting is on point but his voice needs a little refinement. Also, orbot and cubot's voice distortion is a little too much
