Just to be clear, this is a bit of fun edgy power scaling for people who like that sort of thing, and want to know if Sonic could theoretically fight Naruto or Green Lantern or whatever. I don't think Sonic is actually meant to be this powerful in the canon of the games. If I had to place him in-canon, how strong the writers probably intend him to be, I think he started out in Sonic 1 around Mach 1 and small building level, and is currently somewhere around mach 10 and city block level when he goes all-out. I stand by all the Super Sonic scaling though.
Ok here's a thing namek frieza is not planet buster he is at bare minimum is a galaxy to low universal lvl. For galaxy lvl feat when namek was getting destroyed frieza added a per cent of his power to boost the destruction of planet and we can see when Goku was explaining his escape from Namek the aftermath of planet namek explosion covered entire galaxy . And in guidebook it's stated a single galaxy is a collection of innumerable amount of nebulae and a nebulae in context have innumerable amount of star's. As for universal statement king Kai stated frieza holds the power Destroy entire universe at this point. And even cell's previous form has statement of Cell's ki reaching entire universe . So yeah kindly research a bit more before making the videos ☺️ plzz. And I can point out still more for db if I includes their guidebook but nah let's leave it. 😅
Ok just finished your video and no sonic is not clearing DBS in slightest. Cause at current Goku alone falls into hyperversal category. Just try Atari Goku scalling the new one. If you're using andgoing through guidebooks for one side atleast put half of that effort for other party .
The reason why I think Sonic is so strong is because according his creators, he is considered to be fairy, he shows up to help those in need and leave, he doesn't have a home, he doesn't have a back story, he is a static character, and most of motivations are either to just help his friends or those in need or to defend life and freedom. Sonic is the embodiment of chaos which is essentially life since The End is the embodiment of order which seems to be death. If Sonic is a God then I think it'd be more accurate to consider him the God of life and freedom over the God of the wind but he could also be both since the wind can also represent freedom, I feel like this could be the case with Super Sonic and his other transformations, but for base I'd say he's an avatar of chaos. Sonic is like a universal constant because as long as the chaos of life exists Sonic be there to save it and preserve it's freedom to choose how to how live from anyone be they a mortal or a God above other Gods.
this is my headcannon, also that the chaos emeralds (and master emerald(s?)) where once a part of him and that he is the end's counterpart in the same way that chip/light gaia is dark gaia's counterpart
Sonic is only so powerful because he is the embodiment of good within people, so he is basically a walking Genkidama. If good exists, then Sonic is up and running.
2:27 keep in mind the only reason the “Surprise punch” could knock Sonic back into base from Super was because Knuckles grew up around the Master Emerald. His knowledge in Chaos Energy would be far superior when compared to Sonic at the time.
It’s apart of his power. He has the ability to restore a broken master emerald because of his connection to chaos energy which also means he can do the reverse and knock anyone out of it because of his connection to it and not because of his strength.

Knuckles... which granted, you could assume means "super", but from the lack of physical changes, it could also mean "special" or even "shield" as that's how the Chaos Energy manifests. We also got to see how Super Tails and Super Knuckles would look like in Sonic 3 & Knuckles, and they don't look this way in the Metal Overlord fight.

Here are some things that I would like to point out about Sonic lore and gameplay since I've been a long time fan: 1.Super Sonic is said to be completely invulnerable to any and all attacks, with large scale final boss attacks only slowing him down. However Super Sonic has a health bar during the Perfect Dark Gaia fight, with Sonic commenting that he can actually FEEL the attacks (meaning either Dark Gaia's Atk power is higher than invulnerability or it negates Super Sonic's defense. 3.During the flash back cutscene on Chaos Island (Sonic Frontiers), Sonic and Tails witnesses the fight between the Ancients and THE END. Tails points out that the heavy artillery that the Ancients are using are equivalent to the Eclipse Cannon, while the beams being fired back by THE END are similar in strength to Perfect Dark Gaia. Tails won’t says these things lightly, he has an extremely high IQ (comparable to Eggman) and has witnessed the power of BOTH first hand (The moon was blown up only using a small portion of its potential power) (Super Sonic fight and Light Gaia vs Perfect Dark Gaia was shaking the planet) 4. As for the Titans, it’s clear that with the power of ONE emerald, they had the potential to battle THE END to a standstill, but lacked the strength to destroy it. Unlike Sonic who couldn’t use his normal Super form to its true potential to properly fight THE END in the original ending of Frontiers, he COULD end it after it had been weakened by Sage using the Supreme. 5. Since both Ian Flynn and Sonic Team/Sega have confirmed that Sonic's history is both consistent and canon across the games (remember point 3?) the only beings that could have built the World temples across Mobius/Earth would have been the Ancients (with help from CHIP/Light Gaia) and since Light Gaia states that he had been fighting Dark Gaia every few million years since the creation of the world, that would mean he had to either use his own power or use it in combination with the Master Emerald to forge his own Gaia colossus every time since the Chaos Emeralds didn’t exist until the Ancients brought them. My point? If the act of AWAKENING an emerald from its drained state can shift the planet back together, then it’s highly likely that it is on the very lowball of what a Chaos Emerald can truely do.

Here’s 3 reasons why Sonic is possibly the strongest character in all of fiction - In Sonic Adventure 2, the eclipse cannon is said to be something that can pierce stars. Yet, Sonic goes through it to stop the cannon from destroying earth. - In Sonic Generations, the white space is considered to be a place where time doesn’t exist. In that case, no one could move, which explains the other characters being stuck. Yet, Sonic can move freely at any time. He has a speed that no one can reach. Time isn’t a factor in his speed. - in Sonic (2006), he had defeated the god of all universes, Solaris. You could argue that Silver and Shadow helped him, but then again, he also was granted access into the space that Solaris’ Flame is kept. This flame is what kept the fabric of reality together. No one else but Elise should be able to see it. And yet, Sonic had. And he ended up encouraging Elise to blow it out and reset time. He has the power to go and flick the switch of reality and just reset stuff.

Well I gotta say I approve of your edgy Sonic scaling and am excited to see what 10/10 video is next ❤. That said I really like that you went over almost every avenue for Sonic's scaling since most power scalers just pick one and run with it. And while that's not necessarily a bad thing I think it's a breath of fresh air to see someone present more than one interpretation of a characters strength.

So Here's something In the IDW Comics, which are confirmed to take place in the games continuity, the Phantom Ruby is stronger to the Master Emerald, which is even stronger than the seven Chaos Emeralds Infinite is stated to be stronger than every foe Sonic has fought before, including Perfect Chaos, the Biolizzard, Metal Overlord, the Time Eater and even Solaris And base Sonic was able to defeat Infinite various times during the game That would put base Sonic even higher than Time Eater and Solaris by the time of Sonic Forces And not even with all that power he was able to damage the Titans in Sonic Frontiers And that makes sense as the Titans were made to protect the Ancients from The End, even if they failed Having that in mind, that would put not only The End but also the Titans higher than the Chaos Emeralds, the Master Emerald and the Phantom Ruby And just by using the power of the emeralds, Sonic is able to easly surpass that Now Here's something about his speed The Time Eater had literally erased time and space and Sonic restored them just by running, not only as his Modern self but also his Classic younger self, so that would mean both Modern and Classic Sonic do have immeasurable speed by themselves, without even taking the fact that Sonic goes stronger and faster every second And as the game itself shrugs it off, we could assume that's not even impressive in Sonic standards
Man, I'm not sure it's a wise decision to bring idw into this when that continuity is an anti feat gold mine. Sometimes, even to the point of not making sense from a commonsense perspective. Idw sonic anti feats. Zavok is thrown into a regular jail cell in issue one of bad guys and couldn't escape. The cell also lacked any electrical components, so they basically tossed a guy who could destroy robots in ye old county jail, and it somehow worked. Team chaotix are also thrown in a regular prison cell in the most recent issue, and they are unable to escape. Burning Blaze doesn't even last a single issue in the metal sonic arc and gets totally exhausted, taking out the egg fleet despite her beating egg salamander and egg wizard alongside Sonic. Eggman says he could beat sonic at any time via carpet bombing and doesn't because of a batman joker dynamic or something. Exept idw Eggman apparently has amnesia since he tried exactly that in Sonic 3 and failed. Silver gets put into a mini coma from blocking an explosion the size of a small room. So this dude can beat a fire god that can bench press skyscrapers, but throw a couple kilograms of tnt at him, and he just gets bodied.

Well Chaos and Solaris were both called gods and by extension that would make Iblis and Mephiles gods as well (due to being two halves of a whole), the Gaia twins are self explanatory and the elements just make sense (Chaos=Water, Solaris=Light, Iblis=Fire, Mephiles=Shadow (HA!), Light Gaia=Earth, Dark Gaia=Darkness and The End=Death)
This might be a hot take but I think modern Super Sonic is a lot stronger than classic Hyper Sonic. Classic Super got knocked out by a surprise attack from Knuckles - in the same way that Sonic gets stronger as he ages, I think his ability to use super forms gets better too. But yeah a modern Hyper Sonic would be nutty
@@BWHERE I’ve heard some people say Knuckles’ innate ability to tap into Chaos Emerald energy like Sonic and Shadow was probably the reason he could punch Sonic out of his Super form, either that or through sheer power which is still pretty insane.
Going by this video's scaling of the Chaos Emeralds, and considering how much more powerful the Master Emerald is, and exactly WHAT the Super Emeralds are, Hyper Sonic and Hyper Knuckles clap the entire DB cosmology. Probably Super Tails too, come to think.

Archie sonic didn’t just show powers like Xeno, he EXCEEDS him. He’s one of the most powerful characters in fiction up there with the flash, Superman, Featherine, Saber all of them.
Love the video. The little tidbit about Super Sonic getting knocked out by knuckles is a bit off though. It wasn't that Knuckles overpowered Super Sonic, it's that Knuckles has the ability to knock the emeralds out of people. They actually referenced that ability in the movie, Sonic 2, when he punched the master emerald out of Dr Eggman. No other character has been seen doing that before.
Ever so slight correction but Shadow never admitted that Sonic is the ULF, he speculated that Sonic could be the ULF but was confirmed to have retracted that thought. Then in the 2005 Shadow game, Sonic does outright say that Shadow is the ULF.
Seeing someone who actually knows how to scale sonic characters post a video is so refreshing. Also for the black hole feat in sonic colors: Hyper Go-on energy is stated to be the most efficient energy source in the series I’m pretty sure. Greater than the chaos emeralds, I’m not sure but it’s interesting to look into. Sonic being able to harness this energy and fighting another wisp who scales above every wisp - that stopped the black hole.
The biggest thing about Sonic's power that i always go to is the fact that Super Sonic is completely invulnerable. The only time (that i recall at least) in a mainline sonic game that he took damage in a super state was against the literal gos of tome Solaris, and the only reason he took him down was by Shadow and Silver also fighting Solaris at different times. Once Sonic goes super, theres no stopping him
There are a fair few bosses that can cause damage to Super Sonic, forcing him to drop a portion of his rings. Non-canonically, the Big Arm boss in standalone Sonic 3 can make him drop them ALL. This is a bug, not a feat - the grab attack mistakenly ignores the Invulnerability flag.

That’s probably why we haven’t seen hyper Sonic since he is so fundamentally overpowered. A Super Emerald is when a Chaos Emerald essentially goes super form with the power of all seven…and then Sonic fuses with seven of those. That much power is damn near incalculable

Knuckles has some sort of special connection to chaos energy which allows him to restore or destroy anything with chaos energy. You can see in the sonic movie how he restored the broken master emerald to its original state. Knuckles can do the inverse as well and simply break anyone out of the chaos energy. So someone like solaris who has the power to destroy the universe wouldn’t be able to knock sonic out but knuckles could who is weaker.
just a small correction, Roshi used his buff form to blow up the moon so it can be inferred that a power level of 150 isn't enough to blow up the moon also I remember that in magazines they stated that you need a power level of 10,000 to blow up a planet

I really enjoyed this video I would love to see a Shadow or even Metal Sonic version of this some point in the future. I love how even without the Sonic CD Time travel feat and some others. Sonic can just easily wipe the floor against a majority of characters
You should do "what if Sonic and Mario swapped universes" where you individually power scale both characters and their verses and see if either of them can fulfill the shoes of taking on the other's rouges gallery. You could also do this with Kratos and Asura, Batman and Spiderman, Spiderman and Invincible, Invincible and Steven Universe, ect.

I do wanna say. just started the video. not including archie comics, the IDW comics were confirmed to be CANON towards the sonic universe, stating that they are in between games. characters from the comics are also name dropped in frontiers, solidifying this point even more. so any scaling to game sonic, IDW should add to that as well.

@carso1500 i mean bro in the current IDW comics which use the games as the baseline for all character interactions and feats, eggman does have reaction speeds that do somewhat mirror him having immeasurable speed not to mention being able to have manhandled someone who is on par speed wise to some of the side cast
@@Sonic44885 and this is a good example when power scaling fails No Eggman doesnt move at inmensurable speeds, it goes against the most consistent interpretation of the character
@@carso1500 Sonic Adventure 2 went out of its way to give Dr. Robotnik a higher grounded acceleration and max speed than Sonic and Shadow when on foot, mind you. This same courtesy did not extend to Tails, who was Sonic's equal in speed when he was first introduced up until the Homing Attack became a thing. All this for the virtual pet raising portion of the game. Just to bear in mind.
