Maple Treeway should've been Savannah Citadel. There's literally already a track called Dragon Driftway that could've easily been retextured to be Dragon Road and it would've made much more sense.

Could you imagine if we replace the items with the wisps from Team Sonic Racing (white boost over mushroom, orange rocket crimson eagle and cyan laser over green red and blue shells, blue cube over bananas, magenta rhythm over blooper, violet void over super horn, jade ghost over boo, etc.)

It would have made more sense to have Sweet mountain over Sweet Sweet Canyon they're practically almost the same thing
