Using the Hedgehog in parts intended for the Werehog then completely bypassing them is probably the most impressive thing I've ever seen in a Sonic game. Ever.

to see something that took me an hour to beat be done in 3 minutes makes me suffer even more

And that ladies and gentlemen...is how you get an S rank on this stage while avoiding as much as the werehog as possible

This is crazy. It really makes me appreciate how big this level actually is. Wish we had long levels like this in modern games. To me it seems as if Unleashed and Generations are to this day the only 3D games they really put time and care into to make the games with no deadline rush. Even Frontiers suffered from that with mostly 2D sections at the end of the game. However I find Unleashed still special. This game holds up so well in this day and age they could easily port it with little effort. Back in the PS3 days I played it with 20fps and that infamous pause at this water jungle level and only now with the power of the Xbox Series X does this game play in Full HD 60fps, it took two console generations.

This speed run is amazing but the heck is the music?

It's crazy that all it takes to speedrun this level is to make super risky boost jumps through the beginning section, no-clip through the middle section, and then just tear your way through the last few rooms as Werehog Sonic Boom, 2:XX run!

Despite the 2 mistakes that you did, that was still a very impressive run! You did a very good job!

Little tip, try staying on the ceiling of the hallway near the boss door near the end of eggmanland. Then do the combo through walls glitch and you'll be able to skip the first boss room cus none of the enemies will load in. Saves u tons of seconds

Can day Sonic defeat dark Gaia monsters? I never actually thought till now. Are the enemies health set differently depending on who is supposed to defeat said enemy or does it vary depending on what time of day it is? Like if a mech that Werehog should defeat is approached by Hedgehog, does the enemy have a health bar?

Ah, I see you ended up getting the sub 3. Question... Officially, does the run time take into account the time that you pause the game? I understand that pausing does allow you to execute certain tricks, but the time to complete is obviously more than 2:56:77 if you take into account the length of the pause.
