I kinda find it eerie how this stage takes place in a snow field, on icebergs. All the other night stages have this feeling of it being inhabited, with all of the structures and buildings you can find, but in Holoska’s night stage, you're pretty much out in the wild, at night, and that's what makes it seem creepy to me.
This Is my favorite Night stage in Unleashed. It balances out platforming and action well, and I don't hear that battle music as often. The visuals and music is just perfect. I love snow/ice levels and Holoska feels like an ice stage with the fragile and slippery ice, and how you can use fire to melt ice. This stage is a masterpiece❄
If you have the .mp3 file in the PS3 ou X360 system and play it while the game is running, the in-game music will stop and the .mp3 file will be played instead. I do it everytime.
When jumping off the ice pillars and icicles, what button do you press? I'm stuck on this level because I can't make the werehog jump off before they break. I'm on xbox if that matters.
+SaucyHambeast I just got the game not too long ago and I am also stuck at those exact spots. It just doesn't work for me... This game would have been near perfect without the werehog stages, imo.
I was thinking on doing those runs on werehog stages but i don't edit the music like you do cause i dont have any movie maker stuff on my laptop, so have to get use to the battle music, but i don't mind the battle them, and also im not doing sppedruns on nightime stages, im doing High Score runs.
I don't mind the battle music at all. As long as I have fun playing the stages, that's all that matters for me. And I did have fun back in 2010 when I was 8 years old :)
I love the Werehog Act 1 stages. Three things make a decent stage, under ten minutes, S rank and all the medals, but they rarely happen together. They're just a lot of fun, the Act 2 stages can get irritating though
The Surgeon All act 1 night stages are 3 to 10 minutes long if you know what to do within each act, they just feel longer on our first time through if you are exploring for the medals and collectibles.
I just got this game and I love it...I haven't played Sonic Adventure, SA2, but I think complaining about the werehog levels is dumb, 3D Sonic games have always had multiple styles of gameplay and that's what the werehog is, a unique gameplay mechanic, and you never hear anyone claim Twilight Princess sucks because of the werelink.
I’ve heard people say the werehog stages are boring but the game would really be more boring without them. I love the day stages but the mixed gameplay is what i was there for man. If the game didn’t have the werehog it would have just been Colors before Colors. Now I love the boost formula but we don’t need all our games to be like Colors. Colors was kinda like a one off special after Unleashed but it was still great! But did you ever think about exactly WHY they added all those Filler levels in the first place? You can’t be boosting ALL of the time. It makes the game boring. Which is why Generations had Classic Sonic.
This was the first night level that was very hard to deal with, it was so hard back then when i first played the game, i mean when i finally beat the level, i screamed, it cost me like 10 lives and 5 retrays, but now its not hard for me.
It's most likely that the music was muted and they just put the sound over it. Fair cause the theme for this level is seriously one of my favorites and the Battle theme can get SUPER repetitive

Man, i really need play this game before graduate in my university. I only played a few levels of the ps2 version, but i really need play the ps3/360 version which i found waaaay superior. Looks awesome. I can't believe that IGNorants rate this gem lower than sonic 06.
I didn't even know the battle music is possible to turn off, in this video we can hear just the stage music without the battle music! And you used some kicks to battle what I didn't even know in this game! So we can deduce that I am out of the civilization now! Nice game, there are some kind of memories in this one! Both a little bit nice and a little bit worse memories!
If people wonder why they hate this game, it's because it's laggy and unresponsive with poor camera angles. Best exemplified in this course because I kept dying at the end 😭😭😭😭😭😭
