Sonic Unleashed: New Xenia Update with Low-Specs PC [HD]

TriΔng3l is the literal god for pushing this update of xenia. He committed a total framebuffer rewrite which drastically increases performance of the emulator by more than 2 times, making games that used to be impossible or difficult to run due to low fps now much easier, though compatibility issues with various titles remain. At least this is promising enough for me to play some of Sonic Unleashed levels without being dipped down to below 15fps. However, running the game with vsync disabled broke physics sometimes.

- Intel Core i5-4460 @ 3.20GHz (4 CPUs)
- NVIDIA GeForce GTX 960 2GB
- RAM: 8GB DDR3
- OS: Windows 10 20H2

@@Deathlock61 Берешь iso образ и распаковываешь программой isompgui, заменяешь файлы на файлы мода xenia unleashed (гугл). Потом через эмулятор открываешь файл .xex Use translator

I see there's less crashes in this recent version and canary too. But did you change any config for Xenia?

Only disabling V-Sync. Also, there's no changes with compatibility. Which means crashes and black screens are the same, and sometimes worse. I was just lucky with this run.

Hmm strange the only stages I can play is Dragon road act 1,Cool Edge act 1 and 2 and lastly mazuri act 2 the drift stages. So I presume other stages have rare crashes.

Your "Low end pc" looks like low spec for me.

This video is super old. Use Xenia Canary for better performance.

How did you avoid the vertex explosions?

For this run I was lucky. The official build is still causing vertex explosions like crazy. As of now you can download Skyth's fork of Xenia which bypasses a tons of problems with this game.

hmm... how's your "xenia.config.toml" file? any specific changes?

Try these settings for Xenia: (xenia.config.toml) use_haswell_instructions = true draw_resolution_scale = 1 render_target_path_d3d12= “” Vsync= false

@@seanboglio3605 Btw if you aren’t using a 100 percent save file, you are way more likely to get crashes and vertex explosions. So if you don’t have a save file, let me know so I can help you set it up if you want.
