It’s a shame the recurring best known victory theme was abandoned from the franchise after Sonic 06, except for Sonic Generations since that game was without any original music pieces that are not remixes from other games.

Sonic the Hedgehog Genesis (2006) was the last time the classic theme was used before they decided to go with Sonic 3 for the rest of the series.
