Sonic the Hedgehog takes on Jet the Hawk in a race across Radical City in order to reach the finish line. In Sonic Riders fashion, Sonic and Jet use Extreme Gear to outmaneuver one another across cityscapes, highways, bridges, neighborhoods, and more in this sprite animation.

Also I always wished they made the Babylon Rouges appear in other games besides Riders and Olympics. It would be interesting to see how strong they are in an actual fight instead of racing.

That was our thought exactly! We'd love to see them in a non-racing Sonic game someday. For now, our fan fic animation will have to do.

This was a good sprite battle between Sonic and Jet, especially on Jet's part because as we hardly see him fighting properly you managed to give some really cool moves that suit him, btw I loved the ending with Sonic getting angry and throwing Extreme Gear at him like Kiryu would do with Brast style

Thank you! Glad you enjoyed it. This project was the biggest pain to make due to so many technical difficulties and software issues. It's a miracle this didn't get scrapped, honestly.

Jason definitely has great range. Managing to make 3 characters sound completely different AND do the voices for the Warehog and Darkspine Sonic is nothing short of impressive.

@@RealLifeGlitchEntertainment if it isn't the visual aesthetic of the sprite animation being a wholesome rendition of a Sonic Riders scenario modernized as a Sonic level play-through run, it's probably the context behind the somewhat competitive rivalry between Sonic and Jet, like how the whole thing is casual and how they're basically pumped about going for style points while enjoying the whole process This is made like they both literally go hang out at least once a week. Also I wasn't expecting Sonic to chuck his board like that. I found it hilarious ☠😂
