This was such a delight to watch especially for a long time fan such as myself. I really felt the love being the effort you put in. Fantastic use of the voice lines you had access to. I really loved Sonic saving Shadow while responding to his confusion “Do you know who I am?” 10/10 moment. We all know Shadow is fated to lose here but I like how you managed to showcase that Sonic won due to experience & grit. So much to love about all of this so I’ll just simply say Thank you & I look forward to your next work.
It never hit me before until today, that Sonic was using Chaos Control to fight Shadow here 😮 I mean, I obviously could see it happening in game, but it just didn't register narratively until now. I had always seen it as the game simply respawning Sonic into the fight. This video has recontextualised a top moment from a game I love very deeply, and made it even grander! I can't thank you enough!

My Only Real Complain Here Is That If This Came Out Before The Release Of Frontiers, Nothing Was Related Or Referenced As I'm Somewhat With Sega Scourge On This, Where I'd Not Cover Things Not Released At The Time, So If It Was A Shadow Rematch Instead Today, I'd Not Want Any Doom Powers. I Want All The Potential, If You Would, So Make A Remake and Rework It Fully, Or Pause and Do The Rest After It's Released.
I don’t understand why they didn’t make it canon. They didn’t want to give sonic a power up but yet gave him a corrupted power up boost. Should’ve just made hyper sonic canon
Silver may not have as much raw speed or durability as Sonic, but his psychic powers make him a very challening opponent for someine as straight forward as Sonic. He can keep up with sonic and shadow in a fight easily, after all he is one of the toughest fights in both of their stories in 06 due to a softlock lol.
Awesome animation! 👌This looks really good. I would honestly say that Blaze would easily beat Knuckles considering what happened in Sonic Rush, she’s a lot more powerful and potential than most characters but we just don’t see enough of her. Either less, great fight.
