I feel like it's accurate that Shadow has the edge over Sonic esp. without limiters, but Sonic has more "Potential" if that makes sense. Sonic is a bit more of an undergod character who gets by through sheer persistence.

To be fair throughout all of this Shadow is stronger than sonic in base form (And their other forms for most of it), it's only when you compare their strongest versions of their Super forms you see Sonic take the edge, and that's when Shadow has his Inhibitor Rings on, though I will admit Hyper Sonic probably has an advantage over Hyper Shadow due to his experience with the form, but if Shadow were to take of his Inhibitor Rings when would have the edge but he would have to make the fight quick in order to win as his without his Inhibitor Rings his energy is drained rather quickly due to the amount of power he's using.
