I first heard this in 2012 and to this day I've never found what game this music originally came from! Does anyone have any idea? Most of this hack's soundtrack is stuff from the likes of Sonic 3D Blast, Sonic Crackers, and stuff like that.
But this one, I could never find, and most other versions of this ROM hack don't have this. This music has a quirk of getting out of sync the longer it's played, giving me the impression it's either originally from this hack, or otherwise came from something that never saw much of the light of day.
My ROM file is called "Sonic Xero v3.0 (2nd beta release).bin," and I downloaded it on 4/24/12.
