Kind of? I'm the one currently directing the finishing up effort (as you might have noticed, the game is very nearly done as it is now), but I'm not the one who made the majority of the game as it is, so I'd rather not take credit for that (this is why my name is listed _last_ in the credits, not first). Things like the boss of Chaos Central act 2 being Mecha Sonic wasn't something that was originally part of the game, I just felt it appropriate.

By the way, if I might like to know, did you also work on Furious Finale and Egg Rocket? I really liked that the Real Final Showdown with Egg Rocket uses mechanics from Cosmic Chasm (double), to be honest, I thought it would have to be thrown, like in Sonic Advance 3 😅
@@NeoRageCH Currently yes, it is a copy of act 1, but that will change in the future. I intend for it to be given more unique level design at some point, alongside the readdition of Sunken Star zone and the finishing up of Furious Finale part 1 alongside the implementation a more proper final boss.

A decision I made because going for the obvious choices of either Stardust Speedway bad future themes or a remix of his Sonic 4 theme would be too obvious and overdone (although to a lesser degree in the case of the latter theme in question). Though... considering how underused "Never let it go" is as "Metal Sonic's theme" in fangames (y'know, when they don't go and give him an original composition like Time Twisted and Fallen Star did, which is an excellent decision on its own), perhaps I can find a way to give that one a time to shine as well? We'll see.
@@Gabrielibis2024 lol, when I played the game on record (this video), my checkpoints with Cyber City did not work, I spent an hour of real time to get to Mecha Sonic, due to the fact that there was water where I had to jump, if you notice, I spent 10 or 11 lives...😅
