Sonicake Matribox 2 + Electro-Harmonix Bass Soul Food 

Sonicake Matribox 2 is a multi-effects Guitar and (finally!) Bass pedalboard that allows you to have a totally customizable effects loop to which, if desired, you can add your own analog pedals. With the Electro-Harmonix Bass Soul Food sounds good.
If you don't hear the sound from the external pedal, make sure you remember to manage send and return levels and mix in the settings.
