What makes sonics kenshi so good is he’s actually using sento as a puppet and not just memorizing inputs for big combos. Knowing how to keep pressuring after dropping a sento combo is so impressive 😭 the improvisation and hit confirming is so sick
can you explain this a bit as someone who hasn't played the game? From what I can tell when kenshi splits the player remains in control of both characters? Is there a downside to using it? Thanks! also I finally saw someone hit sento and it sends him into I guess a grounded opponent but I dont really grasp what that does to the other.
@@MaMalik_ so basically kenshi is a puppet character. A puppet character in fighting games is a character who has the ability to control to people at the same time. It can be pretty complicated and to get the full potential out of it u need to master the timing of when to attack with which character
@@MaMalik_ it’s really strong for pressuring but the second you hit either kenshi or his shadow the shadow goes down. Kenshi is still a threat but he’s somewhat limited with what he can do without sento. And trying to summon him back can be really punishable
@@MaMalik_ a lot of people who are learning kenshi simply practice the timing of inputs for big combos with sento stance. But if you drop a combo and loose your momentum it can be really easy to punish. sonic is really good at controlling them both no matter what the situation is. He basically always puts himself at an advantage by playing both characters at once instead of relying on knowing inputs for one or two combos. Hence why he’s so good a puppet characters
@@MaMalik_in case of kenshi here in NRS MK1,it was pilot by holding a button to delay spirit's action,block to delay kenshi's own action. Benefiting in 2 work together fill each other's gap,or creat push force from the other side to control distance. Extra note : for same archetype from other games (ex: GG) it can be used of [negative edge] , where release of button command the separate character
I'm not an MK player, but i like watching MK content on RU-vid. It's nice seeing matches that actually end with brutalties & fatalities. It's been missing for a while, it seems like.

Seeing Sonic pull that 3 vs 1 using scorpion for a cameo the other night put him on another planet that will take people months to catch up to. Watching him play has always been awe inspiring but this hits different, it's almost as it its an artform 😮
He pretty much did that’s why he just stood there and stopped trying to block. Fox prolly pissed him off after outsmarting him and doubling up on the same move

The game is still new tho... you're actually like this game has been out to the public for at least 6 months to a year... The game is literally not out yet for everyone. This is early access dude.

He’s a meta slave. Eventually it will get nerfed and hell play another spammer. I mean I have no skill in these games and only watch pros play. But seeing this just lets me know its the same stuff were gonna see till hes nerfed. Boring

They are going to have to do some heavy balancing and needing in this game. I love the combo potential but some of this is overkill. It’s way to easy to get high damage doing the same moves or just spam the same part of a combo.
not gonna lie just watching the first match got me tight , like sonicfoxes fingers must hurt cause holding R1 into all those combos Simultaneously, i cant play Kenshi’s puppet correctly that way
If you don’t think the top players put in more hours into the game. I don’t know what to tell you. Xombat, Ninjakilla etc all will have more hours logged into MK than everyone else. Thats literally part of being the best
How the fuck calling the shadow doesn't takes any bar its insane. This character literally can do over 400 dmg without spending any bar. Nerf that shit immediately
only certain people can play it, and only certain people can fight it. In some Sonic content he has been defeated several times by Johnny Cage players easily.
