@@johnnyalvarez4335 The seven guardians were originally from the sequel, Sonic.exe Round 2: Electric Boogaloo, also written by JCtheHyena. It wasn’t that good. 😆 But the seven guardians were some sort of henchmen-esque entities that represent emotions; happiness, sadness, anger, violence, I can’t think of the rest. 😂

Coming back to this trailer is always so bizarre to me. Words cannot describe how important Sonic.exe’s evolution is to me. Sonic.exe was the very first thing I was ever afraid of way back when. It seems silly now but I was like 6 or however old I was in late 2012. I’m 18 now so it really feels like I’m getting ready to go see an old friend when I watch this trailer. Thanks Joe, John and everyone else involved for working hard on SonicPC I’m looking forward to this a ton

The sprite work during where tails goes through the flesh pipe reminds me of the sprite work from the meat levels of godzilla nes creepypasta, and it's working cuz I'm getting that same sense of uneasiness, I love the eldrich horror vibes going on

I'm just now noticing this but for some reason tails seems to jump styles some animations will have sonic 2 styled shading and pallets while other ones will resemble sonic 3 (that's how it looks at least) really weird.

The statues are Lord X's Guardians, they were made by him to protect his world using his matter and human emotions. We'll just have to wait and see to learn more about them.
