My 2 cents (and a disclaimer): I’ve had the opportunity to create a part of the factory presets of the ELZ_1 play. It's been a fun project, though I must admit my judgment might therefore be somewhat biased. While I usually strive for objectivity, the reality is that no one can be entirely impartial. The ELZ_1 play is enjoyable to use, offering flexibility through the use of various machines instead of relying on just one or two synthesis models that delve extremely deep. Consequently, the ELZ_1 play is also well-suited for beginners. I did wish for some additional modulation sources here and there, but that's just the sound explorer in me talking. I found the new shimmer reverb and sound engines to be quite useful, but my absolute favorite is the internal looper. It's super easy to use and excellent for (ambient) improvisations. In terms of build quality, it's good. Although the added velocity is super useful, I needed some time to adapt to its internal keyboard, as the keys would sometimes get stuck in the chassis. However, this issue improved as I spent more time with the ELZ_1 play.

This sounds so good and is a huge improvment from the original. Definitely a Flagship synth for Sonicware, although pricier than their other gear for sure

Good work sir 😁 Glad you enjoyed making presets on this. It's got a hell of a lot of potential. I've been talking directly to Dr Yu Endo about more routing for velocity, extra modulation etc and it seems likely to be added with updates 🤞

I'm glad i ordered one. I hope in the future, there will be a proper 4 octave full size keys synth with this synth engine (maybe even expanded)

Sounds great! Some of these sound right out of Jean Michel Jarre's palette. Would be great if you showed more detail on how the multi-track looper works. I ordered in August and I'm hoping you'll ship some in time for Christmas.

Preliminary price seems a bit steep IMHO, and I'm afraid it might have the clickety-plasticy keys, but the sounds it makes are very pleasing.

The key here is- of course-- the fishy. She is quietly intense- studying- k n o w i n g all. Keep your eyes on fishy. She knows.

Is this a japan import only or is it available in europe like orher sonicware products ?
