interchangeable battery = i'm buying it. i remember then i used to have about 5 batteries and swap them out during the day, i literally didn't have to charge my phone like ever. i mostly charged with a universal external charger.

Short of entering in a live volcano with proper gear, the XP3 Plus sure is one tough cookie. I do recommend strongly to equip it with a protective Leather Case/Screen Cover/Metal Belt Clip, from renowned Nakedcellphone. Thanks a million for your kind reply.

This and the Cat S22 flip are quite nice both rugged the cat is considered a smart device running android go 11. The Sony is more of ASOP android which is what I prefer but I'm still able to run Spotify and osmand and here maps if necessary. My battery is 4 days with moderate use if I'm not watching videos the T9 works great and calls are clearer than on my iPhone xr and pixel 6pro...I'm a developer that's the only reason I use smart phone is specifically for development but for those you aren't constantly texting or completely consumed by dopamine hit from instant gratification social media provides look no further. This is a phone first. I just hope it will be be updated at least once to 12go

how do I login into maps? I'm having trouble. I was able to put my email but it asks me to type a letter that's showing me to prove that I'm not a robot. By pressing ok to select a letter, it automatically assumes that I'm done typing, so it changes the letter I'm suppose to type. I cannot type them all because of this issue therefore, I'm not able to log in. Can you help me please?

Will this work in an area where it shows 5G-extended range on the T-Mobile coverage map? I live in a valley where there is zero ATT signal but 1-bar connectivity with T-Mobile on a regular android phone (Samsung A-51). I need the answer to this question before purchasing this phone. Hi Des! I screwed up today and got my son the CAT S22 only to get it home and realize that it is a touch screen smart phone. With my lack of hearing properly, I understood my trusted sales guy to say it could be either one. So now two things: I have to pay a restocking fee tomorrow, and second, would choose this one ----IF---- it can text like his old Alcatel or Kyocera? I'm guessing not. But can you help me out? He basically can only use 1 & 1/2 fingers and thumb to operate!!! And is in a wheelchair. Sigh..... Is there ANY other T-Mobile (we can from Sprint) that is fairly durable that he could use. The TCL looks similar but I think I read a review that said no manual even on line. We may can work around that though. Have to get something soon...charging port is trashed since he has no dexterity, and 2nd battery is at 20%. And from now on, only //I\\ will do the charging! Please help🙏 Or anyone else who can answer if you see this. Thanks so much. Still doing research to try to find answer.

@@T-Mobile There is a demand, just not a great offering for flip phones. Metro pcs has alienated seniors/low tech folks with their paltry offerings. My dad is an older, rugged, working man. He likes easy and durable. No frills. I think we'll try this one and bring it to metro for him. Don't forget about a whole generation of people being left behind with all these tech changes, please!

For the average non tech savvy user yes for a out of the box experience smartphone flip experience I'd go with the Cat S22 that they have but the battery is not great

I am not happy with this phone. I find the user interface not very intuitive to navigate, and not easy to get to what I want to do quickly.

@Tweed Penguin driving around I've found places where n71 had coverage and nothing else did for TMobile. The 41 would be speed but the 71 gives better coverage

I love T-Mobile but I’m just wondering why were doing a flip phones we’re supposed be getting away from this flip phones were back in the early 90s start of the 2000s I had a Motorola Razr know that was a phone you couldn’t text on it but man it had battery life the hall and it was great now it was phone pocket friendly you can wear a pair of skinny jeans and still fit the phone in your pocket that’s how good that phone was and so was the Nokia phone it was a brick phone and it was no smart phone but let me tell you the Nokia was one heck of a phone to because it was also pocket size

There are many people who still prefer flip phones. The elderly for one. It’s easier for them; also personally, I just prefer flip phones because I love the sound of the flip, and although I do know how to use a smart phone, and have had one before, I am trying to get away from all that. When it comes to making phone calls, texting, I want simple. However when it comes to photography, that I love, maps and doing Instacart in the future, I will also look into another smart phone for those reasons. I like to keep them separate in case the smart phone breaks down, then I will still have a phone. You should invest in a easy flip phone as well just in case you need it for whatever reason.
