Sonnet is now 18 months old, she is training to compete in gundog working tests and trials. She is still a young dog and training is always ongoing. At this stage she has a clear understanding of heelwork, stays and recall.
All training is still positive, reward based training whether it be through physical touch or treats. Rewards are dependent on what drives your dog, it could be treats, voice praise, toys or physical touch. As you work with and train your dog you find what works best for them!
