I have purchased the iHost and connected it to my homekit .. all sonoff devices been added but shows "No respond" this with the apple tv is my main hub and iHost as a bridge .. then i made a new home and added iHost only as a bridge and they worked but only can use them locally. Am i doing something wrong ?
Hello, magyarul is kérdezhetek?
@csongorvarga I have an oddball question. Will the switches operate without power going into each bank? For instance: add 120v power to main inlet and use the four switches to run speaker signal through, being able to sever the audio connection through a speaker wire.
Sorry, which device you refer to? The CH4 Pro has a separate power input, and the 4 channels are completely independeny from the power source and you can use it to switch low voltage sources for example speaker signals.
Nice video 🎉 Hello, I know that I can configure a plugin to use Ewelink devices in the Apple home app using homebridge. But I had a doubt that if I add a zigbee device to the ihost, will I be able to control it within the home app (apple)? Having the Homebridge plugin downloaded
Yeah sure. I mean in the video the door sensor, motion sensor was all Zigbee. Those were only sensors so there is nothing to control on them, but should work the same way for zigbee relays.
I made this video to show the integration, I have almost no experience on how Apple Homekit works, but it only gives you local access, since everything is local. Maybe you need a different Apple device like a Homepod to allow access to these devices when you are outside your home network.
Are there Sonoff devices that I can plug to for example front gate to send ping to it but not by wifi but zigbee/radio ? So I can add it to homekit as switch and then open the gate. I had some devices in the pase but based on Wifi and it was weak. Then moved to Somfy IO transmitter based on radio and it works perfectly but it's not integrated with homekit.
@@tomaszswietlikowski7804 If you want batteries you can get zigbee door sensors that are activated with a magnet. All the zigbee door sensors I have seen are indoor models, but you can probably place them in a waterproof container and use a stronger magnet so it work across the container.
@@csongorvarga I was asking more about this device under the switch. Let's imagine want to add new wall switch to automate something and then manage it manually but I don't have any wires in this specific place. So I need a battery based device that i can hide under the switch that will trigger something when clicked.
@@tomaszswietlikowski7804 Ah sorry, I get you. There are battery operated zigbee buttons from Sonoff as well. And they support single press, double press and long press, so you could configure 3 actions on them. Again you need to make it waterproof. If you take it apart you can probably find the terminals of the small switch inside of it, and wire a bigger switch (momentary switch) to it.
