Oh dear, Mike and David have really gone and done it now. This issue sees them shredding (what's left of) their audiophile credentials, by publicly admitting that Sonos isn't quite as horrid as hi-fi snobs believe!
The Beam soundbar and matching Sub Mini subwoofer are amazingly easy to set up and use - and a surprisingly good sonic match for one another. Of course, the sound is nowhere near a properly set-up separates system, but neither is it anywhere near as bad as most 'lifestyle' systems for the home.
Their verdict is - for Heaven's sake, keep the Sonos away from 'her indoors' or you'll find your precious hi-fi separates system in the skip down the road, one morning!
