A more mature version of Happy Days that never really caught on. Too bad it was canceled after just 8 episodes. This would make a great 13 Week Theatre review.

This and Happy Days came out around the same time. I liked this one better and was disappointed that it was cancelled.

Happy Days was good the first two seasons but then they made Fonzie the main character it got obnoxious especially putting it in front of a live audience made it seem fake

At least two made-for-TV movies were edited together from episodes of Sons and Daughters: "Teenage Lovers" and "Love is Not Forever."

It was actually based on a 1974 CBS Made-For-TV movie called "Senior Year"
