The cross is a secret weapon and suprisingly it can actually set enemies on fire. So yes, you could probably beat this game as John Priest from Faith. Edit: As others have pointed out and as I have recently found out, the cross can set on fire only enemies called demons. Still doesn't change the fact that you can still beat the game as John Priest.

If the cross doesnt work just pull out the best alternative, GUNS.

Few things that bother me 1: the suppressed pistol makes less noise than a slingshot 2: the tazer makes no noise atall 3: both bows make the same sound 4: the crossbow is too silent 5: in general all the weapons sounds very silent but the above mentioned is what really stands out to me

When the shotgun has less recoil than the handgun

I like how he shoots guns and swings weapons with his right hand, but shoots the bows left handed

Considering you find a lot of weapons from dead mercenaries in tactical gear you would think you would find more advanced weapons. I mean kelvin has mag pouches on his vest so when the chopper crashed he was issues with some kind of rifle. But there’s no rifle in game. Would have been nice to find some sort of high power sniper rifle or assault rifle that was really hard to find ammo for with rare ammo spawns. But we get pistol, shotgun, bow and crossbow. Not to mention the pistol lazer attachment is on top of the pistol sight

Finally, i can actually play as Constantine and John Wick. These animations look wonderful. Now i just have to pick this game up.

they need to work on the shotgun and explosives animations ( the ground shakes before actual explosions ) , and adding a simple dot crosshair would help with bows

The majority of them look really good. But the arrows magically reappearing in the bows look really bad. Hopefully that's a thing that will get tweaked in an update

i am a gun amateur and i recognized the guns, which looks interesting. in the original" the Forest " game there was only one Orion flaregun and one 17-18th century era flintlock handgun. here's my supposed names of these guns for this sequel: pistol: i though was mix between a german-made Walther P99A and an oriental Caracal or HK45 , but in reality it's a Sig-Sauer 3615, a brand new pocket pistol , also german but also swiss made. can be considered like a short modern cousin of the P226. probably chambered in 9mm Luger/NATO shotgun: it's a shame there's no double-barrel shotguns in this game , it would complete the equipment of a hunter adventurer and would reinforce the desesperate survival gameplay of the game , because a pump shotgun is already an overkill gun. that pump shotgun is without any doubt a short sized Remington 870. It's a american shotgun which has the particularity to be particularly reliable . stun gun: a taser handgun which is clearly an american M26 revolver: a Chiappa Rhino! a very nice choice! it's an italian revolver which shoots 357 magnum . it can be chambered also in 9mm by 21 or 40 S&W but i think the magnum ammo is more fitting for the hunting, as well as creating a good balance . so as usual revolver=magnum like in other games since 40 S&W has similar firepower than 9mm Luger. i do not know well the models of modern composite bow (perhaps it's a Deer hunter i saw this bow in the game No more room in hell but im not sure if it was its real name or not) or the crossbow i can't tell you for now grenade: looks like an Vietnam war era M26 , with the texture of a MK3. They are both American Fragmentation grenades. too bad there's no flare gun , let's hope it would appears in a update like a DB shotgun hope it's interesting to read, unfortunately i never played these games. i wouldn't be against , i love their vibes...

What upsets me, is how they attach the laser sight on the gun's top rail, so it blocks iron sights... Why would anyone use it, seriously??

I know its work in progress and early access but they could do better with the animations and sounds
