Fuji Xs20 vs Sony a6700 which one is good in overall terms?

hey. love your videos. What would you recommend for a documentary photographer/multimedia journalist to use? I'm really confused between A6400, A6600, A6700, A7C, and Fuji's X-T3, X-T4, X-S20 (and maybe the X-T30 ii). Would love to hear from you. [I own a Nikon D750, and I've been meaning to get a second mirrorless camera for photo+video for my purposes. And I'm into portraiture as well and may shoot commercial stuff like music videos, etc. using natural lighting].

Hi everyone, im a new sony user from canon, Got my 6700. Ques; anybody knows why sony doesnt have the continuous auto focus when the photo timer is on? the AF-C wont work which i rely on 90% of the time as a solo content creator taking my own moving street photos using my tripod. Its only set on AF-A & results to me being blurred as the subject and the background is sharp. Is this really sony's feature? How to fix this? Thanks a lot

Its august 2024 and the current firmware still has overheating issues. Sonys firmware release notes also did not specifically state, on any current firmware to date, that it made improvements or changes that focus on the overheating issue. When holding it in your hands, it will still overheat. Somtimes when browning the menus, shooting photos, or shooting 4k video on any framerate at the highest bitrate (and it woudlnt be valuable if you're forced to use lower bit rates). Rooms at room temp, 66⁰F-72⁰F same behavior. Camera overheats in 5-10min Outside, same behavior (switching the standby mode to 30sec helped a little) But if you put it on a tripod or a gimbal, when you dont make much contact with the body, screen open or not, at a 16hr event, in 100⁰F weather...it works with no problem....?weird but yes. It worked. I did buy the ulanzi cooling fan that was made for the a6700 model, and it keeps the camera very cool indoors, and it will run out of battery, or memory before it overheats. I thought I'd use the fan at the event because it was so hot, but something about the breeze hiting the camera on occasion keeps it cool, especially when you are not holding it in your hands, and instead place it on a gimbal or tripod.

still overheats, just got it and have the most recent update. but with the new update it doesnt overheat as soon as it did before

Why is it that nobody highlighting the Discomfort of the View-Finder being pushed to the corner instead of Center.? Sony said so?

@4:00, he is using the SD card with 2 rows of contactsin the back, the A6700 can advantage of this kind of card, it costs more than the single row of contacts, but worth it.

not sure if apsc is considered 'pro' level .. but it's a good camera for fun.

The viewfinder could be better. An external high resolution viewfinder would be nice to have.

I have a full frame Nikon but want an apsc body for extra reach without carrying a huge lens when shooting photos and videos and my nephews baseball / basketball games. Is the 18-135mm kit lens a good option with the a6700 for starters?

When choosing between the Sony A6700 and the Canon R7 which would you choose? I mostly want my camera for beginner videography but a little bit of photography as well

ive been left the world of photography for almost 6 years. now planning to make a comeback and i hav no idea about the gadgets and updates nowadays. is this camera good for me ? ive been using 5d mark 2 since it came out. im doing 80% photoshoot no video. a6400 + lenses or a6700 ?

No heating lol. I just upgraded the firmware and it's heating just like before. And there's 1 more problem with a6700. It randomly freezes. Mine did 2-3 times, and i have clicked total 75 pics. Thinking about returning it with some loss.

I’ll wait till there are used ones to purchase since I already have a a6400. Great review though.

If you even half fill the buffer on burst mode and you didn't get the shot, you probably shouldn't be holding a camera.

Hi, Hope you are well. Since you are using (reviewed) two cameras (The ZV-E10 and a6700), I would like a suggestion from you. My main job is to make indoor videos. Like DIY, craft making, painting video making etc. Also, outdoor videos are just the occasional tour vlogging video. In terms of photography, only street photography and nature photography are my hobbies. Between Sony A6700 and Sony ZV-E10 which would be better overall and value for money in my case?
