The Sony A1 does 4k 60p from a pixel binned 50mp full frame sensor. That pixel binned 60p is VERY clear and sharp. It's literally just as detailed as the 4k on the S-III. Yes, they "could" have done the same thing with the 7-IV but no,...this was a 100% "marketing" choice. I get it, 4k 60p full frame would have been the tipping point that killed the S-III.

Sony could have made the full frame 4k60 8bit422 instead of 10bit422. Plus A7S3 has 4k120.

Thanks for checking out the video!! The 14Gm w/ the crop factor will be approximately 21mm. Which absolutely work in some situations.. but personally for me, at that point.. I would rather just buy the 20 G and shoot 30 frames a second.. no crop full frame..

@@KeepingThisTech yeah man .. I’m perplexed 🤔! Do I just shoot with my A7iii for stills and buy the A7siii for video … I was trying to have a hybrid real estate video camera with out buying that A1!!!

I shoot hybrid with the A7siii all the time.. Photography is so underrated with the A7siii.. The A7siii’s 12MP is not your average 12MP.. and for web delivery, mls etc.. is way more than enough.. that said if you’re shooting for interior designers and the photos may be published for print or any sort of high-end commercial work, that’s when I would go for the higher megapixel cameras.. I hear you tho, Definitely a tough decision..

@@KeepingThisTech Have you heard of the quality of the 1080p of the A74? I know one top notch real estate videographer who shoots exclusively in 1080 for all frame rates on the trusty old A7iii…
