@Tech Nerd Please, I would like to ask about this and other product you have tested, did this unit recognize all discs or files you have with Dolby Atmos/TrueHD 7.1 audio? And by any chance did you test the BDP S1200 too? Do I ask the same question for the S1200 too? Thanks!!
Why would the player feel warm to hot on the bottom even when turned off with the on/off button on the front of the unit. It is connected to a Sony sound bar which also has the tv connected to it. Thanks !!!
Hey Gaston26, it looks like somebody in this article uses a Bluetooth keyboard with the S6500, which is an earlier version of the S6700, so, while I can't guarantee it, I think it should work: www.bestbuy.com/site/questions/sony-bdp-s6700-streaming-4k-upscaling-wi-fi-built-in-blu-ray-player-black/4919700/question/b05540ca-a1a3-309f-861c-d6d649ea8e13 Failing that, you can use the keyboard on the Sony Sideview smartphone app to input text in certain apps on the player (not all though).
No, it is designed for blu ray and dvd. An upscaler. Not a actual 4k player. Bought it thinking the same thing. But the device makes the standard blu ray even crisper
@@Onotosho thanks for responding. I read that it didn't upscale DVDs so I went with the DVP-SR510H. Hopefully it does as good a job at upscaling the DVDs. I figured the Blu-ray upscaling wouldn't be much better the way upscaling works. It would make a Blu-ray maybe slightly crisper but it probably doesn't show the detail that is shown on an actual 4k Blu-ray. Although I could see it doing a better job at upscaling DVDs on account of the resolution capabilities.
