Just goes to show once you get to about the $300 range all the mics are soo good it doesn't really matter. Once songs are mixed and mastered the difference will be so minuscule its Irrelevant.

If you don’t understand why it’s u47, get any of the other mics then you will be ok, have fun. In regards to the u47, her wonderful performance would have you raptured more than any other mic if you listened to just the u47 the whole way through. Meaning… you don’t know it’s there and what it’s doing because it’s smooth and flattering not in a way that’s apparent like being bright but more of its gluing the vocalist into a mix which makes you feel you are a part of something instead of listening to something
Sony первый раз слышу и они тут лучшие, c 100 у него необычный звук, новый , с80 понравился больше всего , думаю продать свой Neumann ,мне кажется за его цену возьму два микрофона с более интересным звуком
wow, wow, wow! Came for the mic shootout, but now just been listening to the singing.on repeat. So basically when the performance and production are this good, mic doesn't matter 😀Is this part of an album?
I'm waiting for broadcasting technology to catch up with vendors pitching their products to consumers, for example, 5 mics. My ear can't tell the difference because of broadcasting RU-vid poor quality, making all the mics sound comparable even though all 5 carry different tones or colors; this demo spells snake oil, especially with condenser mics all sounding good when a good producer knows how to use good technique making most mic work and sound the same no matter what the cost of the mic!
