for some reason im getting 48 MB/s write and 203 MB/s read only with my Lexar PRO 2000x :(

Thanks for sharing 👍 May I ask would my 2017 v10.13.6 imac accept the Sony typeA memory card directly into computer card slot ? Thank you. If so possibly the download speed would suffer ?🙏

No sadly not, it's a totally different size and shape card. It's not a SD card.
