And how does the new user access the NAS using a MAC ? Why is every Synology video so blinkered showing half the process because they think the NAS is the only thing in the system?

I just purchased this....and it shows up however...it still only get 1 gig speeds...and when I go in and change to 2.5gig speeds it automatically goes back to 1gig speed, any help would be awesome!
If the NAS is connected with 10Gbit and it's running all SSDs and you have a 10Gbit connection on your endpoint then you should be editing just fine off of it with no stutters. What protocol are you using? SMB or NFS? Did you tweak it accordingly?
I took am old Inspiron 560 that had a password on the BIOS. I tried forever to figure it out. I followed the third step by taking battery out and putting back and it was literally able to change my boot settings F12. Thanks man!!!!
Help. Nothing works. I changed a setting in the BIOS, and now the screen stays black. I have a Dell XE2. I did the jumper and the battery thing, screen still stays black.

Nice setup, East/West array gives great long solar days. Do suggest you get some temperature controlled fans underneath the inverter to keep it cool in summer as they don’t like being cooked! Might want to also think about some insulation for the batteries in winter as they stop working when temperatures approach freezing.
That's got some heft. Love the wall box too. I'm getting air conditioning fitted and will need an upgraded consumer unit on an outside wall. Was thinking of boxing it in just for a bit more security. This looks like a nice option. If I get it right for that I'll probably repeat it for my home battery set up
Hello, I hope you are well. I have an i5 motherboard. I Used FOR to get into the BIOS and CMOS settings. I disabled the User Password in CMOS and now my PC won't boot up past the Gigabyte logo and F menu keys screen and then it shuts itself down. Please help Sir.
