@sony Do you intend it releasing a more in-depth BTS featurette? This tease was magnificent but I think you’ve sparked the curiosity of many beyond what’s shown here :)
Fantastic work to whoever was the DP! I tested Venice 1/2 at Sony Hollywood a few months ago. Sony has come a long way and even their lower end cameras can produce incredible images. I particularly like the form factor of the Fx 3/30/6 all of them are small and pack a huge punch. Can even fit on a rs2 as shown in the video BTS Dynamic range and color fidelity is looking good here. Was this shot in SLog or one of the other camera flavors. The one thing i didn’t really like when testing the cameras was all of the options. I used panasonic Varicam and Arri mainly (little red) and just like To pickup and shoot. There is a learning curve here, maybe the steepest I’ve seen so far. But once you learn it, Camera is obviously producing beautiful pictures. Great B cam for big productions and even A cam for smaller. Curious what iso and ND DP was using for some shots.
got the FX3 and it is amazing but compared to red, the dynamic range is not accurate which makes me think about what the difference is from the FX3 to the Venice 2
Most of these questions are answered by just watching the video 😂. You can see what lenses they use and you can tell its not external bc the bts shots show that. Did you watch the video?
@@HAlariousIncYes but I think he has the curiosity beyond what’s shown. Sometimes BTS footage show the manufacture’s lenses only, but the footage shown may range from Sony to PL. I’m very excited if this is all exclusively Sony lenses. How far tech has come. 🎉
I have 2 and yes, they’re pretty incredible. Unfortunately they have a real tendency to still look very plastic when it comes to skin and faces. Their main selling point is they just get out of the way if you’re a solo operator.

I lit it with 2 lights for each shot, One Astera Tube for the faces and one LED Falcon for room tone. The rest of the set is lit with practicals. Its an amazing camera, when framed and lit well can give some fantastic images in low light.
@@AntonnActionParanormal I have both (FX3, Pocket 6k Pro +FX6), and the Blackmagic produce a better image quality...Better highlight rolloff, better details (not artificial sharpness like on the Sony's), more organic image, better colors, and Braw is amazing to grade..I also shot on Arri and Red, and the Pocket 6k Pro at this price is the closest to those high end cameras..
