My Sony D-NE800 Discman has appeared in quite a few of my videos, and I really love and cherish it. It may not be the best-sounding CD player in my collection, but it is still an impressive piece from a bygone era. It's a player that provided the maximum in terms of technology that was considered cool back in those days. Besides playing traditional audio CDs, it can also handle ATRAC and MP3 encoded CDs, as well as rewritable CDs, and it's capable of displaying CD-TEXT. It even has an optical digital output, so it can be used as a CD transport. When I was a teenager, I would have been willing to do just about anything to own such a gadget. That's why you can imagine how sad I was when I recently took it out, and it refused to read any discs. This video will be about how I managed to overcome this issue…
