Sony discontinued the PMB series software and came out with the series PMH, which is NOT COMPATIBLE with DCR-SR82. Can someone direct me to a website OTHER THAN SONY'S that offers the LAST PMB software that Sony issued long ago? Thanks in advance.
The charger can be plugged into the camcorder, and doing so will charge any battery inserted into it. Charging through the dock will yield the same result. An additional charger is not strictly necessary.
Yes, it is. The charger plugs into the dock, which the camera is then placed on to charge it, as well as transfer videos and photos off of it onto another device (such as a computer or compatible smartphone).
