Excellent review on this camera. Like your attention to demonstrating the lighting variations in the shade and bright light scenarios an unusual but crucial feature.Great delivery too - succinct clear and precise, nice un cluttered edit and very friendly! Thank-you!
This video is damn good, I have the same camera, pretty good outside when there's the sunlight...get's worse when inside in a darker place but for under 300€ It is good
Hi Gabrielle! Great demonstration video, a big help for me because I'm planning to buy this Sony Cybershot soon. Now I have a lot of information learned and thanks for sharing this video. I truly appreciate your review! God bless! From Manila, Phlippines...
Hmm I haven't actually had the chance to play around with the dsc-wx800 yet! Usually if I am trying to compare products I will go on amazon and look under the "compare with similar items" section! There you can see all the different specs and price differences as well as read customer reviews! Hope this helps!
Love the review!! The video is a little old so I'm not sure if you'll see my comment but I wanted to ask if the camera has an option to disable the 'Auto Focus'? I want to use it to record my illustrations and I'm looking for a reasonable camera with a flip-out display and also being able to 'fixed focus' or disable 'auto-focus'.
Looks good! I have some nice higher-end Sony compacts (RX100VA and RX100, and the little FDR X3000, as well as a Lumix LX100), but I'd love to have a little Sony to put in my pocket, and (at the price of the WX500) I'm not going to panic if it gets banged around a little! Honestly, though most of the cameras I mentioned are 4K and have 1 inch sensors, I really see very little difference between 1080p and 4K, unless you're watching on maybe a 75-inch 4K HDTV or larger! And even then, 1080p will still probably look pretty good! 1 inch sensor cameras will certainly look better in really low light, but I think the little sensor on the WX500 will be fine for most conditions, especially when you just want to go out, grab something you can throw in your pocket, and have a high zoom if you need it. Thank you! Now I'll get a WX500!
I wanted to buy this camera for 300€ looks a nice camera and I didn't want to spend much more, but some People tols me a RX100 would be better, I'm a bit confused. 😣 The RX100 looks a bit expensive and I didn't want to spend much on a camera since I do RU-vid as an hobby. 😣 By the way nice review this helped me a bit on maybe choosing this camera. 😉
Hmm I haven't used the RX100 but this camera is a really great option if you are looking to save a bit! I've had it over a year now and its still doing great!
@@RunnerUTMB While self recording my self in video mode it is automatically flipping my face(mirroring screen)can anyone help me . How to stop this please
I bought it and put a common class 10 SD card in it and it looks perfectly fine, at 60fps and a clear image. I've seen that is recommend the Sandisk Extreme but I don't know if there will really be a worthwhile difference, maybe I'm wrong also. Someone knows?
PKB Vlogs Really great battery life! I’ve never had it run out when I need it! It also charges very quickly and with an android charger so if you have a power pack to charge your phone you can actually charge it on the go if needed!
which one better between Sony CX405 or Sony DSC WX500 for overall use?; i mean sometime took foto sometime video, because both of CX405 and WX500 same have 30 optical zoom
I want one ,how long is battery life and if i use a micro sd can i put it straight into my phone ( i dont edit not even with my pro dslr gear i hate sitting at computers ) yes im sold simple small and enough about me ! Im ordering one just to annoy my kids ( dad vlog every 5 minutes)
Bren L hmm interesting question... I haven’t recorded for one hour straight with this camera as I usually record all my videos in separate clips but I have used it for and hour recording clips and it has been totally fine! :) hope this helps!
a quick question - what size memory card can it take. have read a lot about it but nothing says what size card - guessing 64 but can it go up to 128? thanks
@@MhaicoIsmael what matters is the mb/s. I personally use Scandisk 170mb/s cards for photography only. When I decide(which is very rare, generally for burst mode) to video anything. The 300mb/s is what I use for that.
Hi most of the time I just put it onto my computer and then onto the phone but if you would like to have them directly to your phone you have to download the Imaging Edge Mobile App and connect the camera to your phone through the apps instrustions :)
Gabrielle Ruddick yaaaaas!! I was able to download it its all good! I love the camera and the zoom.. the audio is not the best but its workable so far it give decent pics and video quality is good in goo lights .. thank you!!!!! ❤️
@@GabrielleRuddick Sweet!! I just filmed an entire vlog on my phone and took over 200 videos and my phone is already full so I really need something else lol
Vraman Sarathi It has a built in stabilization that works pretty well! Its always better to use the small handheld tripod as it reduces lots of hand shake
